All the way from Penang and arrived at Liew Kee Chee Cheong Fun around 6pm. Tau Geh Ma recommended us to have our dinner here, she told us we must order their stir fried bitter gourd with egg. This shop is just within 10min driving distance from Liew Kee. It is a corner shoplot and it is crowded with local people. Parking lot is available along the road in front of their store. Their bitter groud is superb, no single taste of bitter. They serve a very delicious and crispy Kong Pao Mantis Shrimp, the sauce tasted sweet and not spicy. Further their steam grouper fish is fresh, their stir fried potato leaves also good. Above-mentioned dishes + a pot of tea for 5 only cost at Rm79++, not even Rm80. It consider very cheaper for us who stay in KL. Definitely will come again if passby...

A home cooked style kind of Chu Char, which serves mostly locals. Nothing fancy but serves great KoChaBi dishes. Their bitter gourd with eggs is highly recommended. The bitter gourd is well stir fry with the eggs and brings out aroma of the eggs. Slightly salty to me (personal preference), but it goes well with rice. The steamed grouper fish is simple yet delicious. Fish is indeed fresh. Stir fry potato leaf with garlic is not bad either. 3 dishes with 2 large rice and a pot of chinese tea for 2 paxs cost us RM 40 only. Good food at such affordable price, this is place is a gem. Quality of food here is decent and fresh. Apparently the shop is popular for its grouper fish head and bitter gourd with egg, only came to know about this after one of the locals told me. They do not provide you with a menu but the food they served is standardized. Basically the food you see in other users reviews are they items they are selling. For the price paid, they food is definitely worth trying.

Ordered: Steamed sliced grouper, stir fry potato leaves, stir fry prawns(local big head prawns) and a pot of Bak Kut Teh.
