Service was difficult. We were struggling to get someone to take our order. Rice, tea, dishes….
The first 3 dishes came out 1 after another. They forgot about the toufu. The business owners should put in abit of effort to teach their staff simple English/Bahasa/Cantonese. At least teach them simple words such as nasi, kecil besar, pinggan kosong, toufu????? If not Malay, teach in English or Cantonese where your customer base are.
It was impossible to ask them for anything. We asked for 3 plates of small rice and 2 empty plates. The guy came with 5 plates of large rice. When we try to tell him, he was just blank.
We tried telling them that the toufu isn’t here yet, but the young girl looked like she was overwhelmed by not knowing our language and about to cry. (we tried to speak in English, bahasa and Cantonese) We have to walk over to the cashier side to inform the owners.
Lemongrass chicken half rm30 Curry fish slice rm50 (we asked for the smallest) Salted egg french bean rm20 Toufu rm15 Tea only 1 type of tea in a jug (0.50 cents per person) Rice 3.50 (2 small, 1 large)
Forgot when was the above comment made, probably in 2023/2024.
30 Jan/CNY 2025. Bad food. Everything is either too salty or too sweet. Ridiculous price. A plate of ginger fish slice, rm120. We can’t even finish it cause it’s too salty. Pai gut wang is rm80. What? Waitress dropped the plates on the floor, proceed to pick them up and place it back to the plate...
Read moreA presentable restaurant from the aspects of the building exterior, interior, food choices and preparation. Air-conditioned and spacious. The service is good. Parking should be no problem. Suitable for big meals and wedding banquets. Recently we tried some typical Chinese cuisine. Food was served in attractive utensils and quality of food was generally good. Comfortable and pleasant setting. Lingered a while longer to sip the Chinese tea with no hurry to leave soon. Can improve further by cutting down usage of MSG (though not that much as...
Read moreVisited this Chinese restaurant that’s been around for quite some time and it definitely carries that old-school charm.
The food was served fast, hot and in big portions, just like a comforting home-cooked meal. Simple, hearty and satisfying. Everything tasted like it was made with experience and love, not just rushed out of a kitchen.
Best of all, the prices are very reasonable considering the portion size and speed of service. Great spot for a casual, fuss-free meal that...
