Texas Chicken Soho Ipoh — Restaurant in Perak

Went there during long Raya holiday recently. Food wise it's good. But the environment and ambient is no good. You have to clean up after dining in. No problem for me, but the staff should have at least let know the patron to clean up and put the used paper plate and cups in the bin provided. Nothing been told and there's a small sticker on the table. We found out through that. During our time eating there there were 1 table with all the leftover and plates by previous diners. A guy, I think homeless/drug addict came and ransacked the table for leftover and helped himself out with the bones and drinks left there. No staff ushered him out or do anything. As though this is normal. Totally...

Nothing much to complaint since this is sub-franchising. However management of the restaurant should change the policy where 'CLIENT IS NOT ALLOWED TO COMBINE THE TABLE'. The restaurant manager not even concern about my special request since I'm celebrating my son birthday and give revenue estimate almost Rm300. The manager try to find us a table which is nearest to each other but since we are about 12 person 1 family still separated. I call the restaurant earlier to check but no body pickup. So just come direct. Since it's around 8pm and bring my parents ( with leg issue and heart issue ) I still compromise and not go to other restaurant. Manager is kind but I believe management should change...

The location is strategic and there's ample parking within the vicinity.

Chicken is fresh and taste good but it's still fried chicken just like other fast food outlets. It has a bit more flour but the portion is average.

Price is a bit higher than KFC, McD and Merrybrown but the chicken is indeed fresh. You can get unlimited free refills for drinks at no extra charge.

Be prepared to spend RM17.50 for 3 pieces of chicken with a cookie bun, coleslaw and a regular drink.

The outlet don't serve direct. You place your order and is given a number. They will display the number on the screen when your meal is ready to be collected. A bit crowded during dinner time and you may have to wait...
