Food is good. Quite fantastic. But a bit off-key for me like for instance the butter prawn. The butter prawn is like buttermilk instead of butter egg (?). Tom Yum a bit sweet. And drinks definitely too sweet as always, any restaurant in Malaysia. The taste is a bit unusual from what I know but it's fine nonetheless. Quite good actually. What was not so good was the service. Like omg can you be any slower. We ordered the ikan bakar more than a dozen times and only came in after 1.5 hours. We stayed long because we had a gathering that came in batches. So imagine the chaos when people came with no food. The food came late even though we ordered much earlier. It was very tiring. To the point that we had to track our orders because we've lost count how many times we've ordered and whether the orders came in. Excruciating wait. We are a party of 20+ and to be fair we came on 2nd day Eid but the whole resto was packed anyway, and they accepted our party. Disappointing service for a large group but...

A friend recommended this place for their Ikan Bakar Masak Lemak, and it did not disappoint! We visited on a Saturday night, and service was surprisingly fast. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Here are my highlights:

Ikan Siakap Bakar Masak Lemak: 8/10 – Soft fish and excellent sauce.

Udang Masak Sambal: 8/10 – Delicious sambal; highly recommended.

Sotong Goreng Tepung: 6/10 – Decent but not the best.

Ketam Masak Pedas: 5/10 – Okay, but not a big fan of crabs.

Enoki Mushroom Goreng Tepung: 3/10 – More tepung than mushroom

Watermelon Juice: 3/10 – Too much ice, little juice.

Baby Kailan Ikan Masin: 6/10 – Decent as expected.

Tomyam Ayam: 5/10 – Slightly sour but pairs well with rice.

We also tried other dishes, but none were particularly memorable to me.

Overall, it was a good experience. The food we loved made it worthwhile, the staff and service were excellent, and I left full and satisfied. If I return to Perlis, I’d definitely come back—but mostly for the standout...

Went at 3PM (opening time). Was the third or fourth group that walked in. Staffs were welcoming and quite friendly. All dishes (water, plain rice, 2 side dishes, tomyam campur and kailan ikan masin) except for Jenahak 3 rasa was served approximately 15 mins after order placed. The Jenahak 3 rasa however was not served until after another 15 mins. Luckily I ordered other side dishes so the waiting was bearable. Taste wise, the dishes was delicious. The price is still within the range I expected at rm130 for 3 pax. If anything to improve, it would be to be transparent with the pricing for each dish so that the customers can estimate the budget for the next time they come. I did ask for receipt (no receipt given initially) but it only stated the...

Seafood dinner in Kuala Perlis? This is one of our family favourite port. Reasonable pricing, good selection of menu & taste just suit us well. We ordered a 1.5 kg ikan siakap goreng 3 rasa, half kg of sotong goreng tepung, 1 kg of lala masak kamheong, sup sayur campur, telur dadar & 1 jug of sirap for 4 of us. My two son's had four plate of rice... 👀 Kamheong & sotong goreng tepung highly recommend...😋 Total bill Rm130. This time, we went there again for buka puasa. As usual, the siakap goreng sweet & sour taste so good, the lala Kamheong is slightly pedas but we like it and sotong goreng tepung memang terbaik... After six plates of rice & one jug of syrup, we left the place with full stomach & feeling good 😄 Total bill Rm117 for 4 persons.
