I give one star because the staff really tried their best, polite and helpful, I like the two girls who were running ups and downs the whole night trying to meet all requests.

Unfortunately, no matter how hard they tried, the restaurant is severely understaffed. We must have walked out of the room dozens of times asking for drinks, food, chair, everything, you name it.

We booked a private room for 12 people and it’s way way way too packed. We have additional one person joining us but with or without that person, the room is way too small for 10ppl, let alone 12. Yes when I booked the room I was informed that the room is max for 12 ppl and other rooms are full. That additional person joined last minute and I thought it should be fine right. But I was very wrong, the room is tiny. People are packed like sardine and we hardly can move around in the room. the point I want to make is, I don’t think it’s a room for 12 people. Downstairs is not full and after being a sardine upstairs, I thought maybe we shouldn’t have a room. Downstairs is much spacious…

Due to almost nonexistent service (I don’t blame the staff, poor them), the overall experience is unsatisfactory. We were unable to refill soup in time before it dried out or become way too salty. We tried to get the soup from the counter to refill it ourselves but the bottles are always empty. A couple of times I walked downstairs to look for someone who can help us in the room, because I can’t find anyone to serve us at second floor (poor staff must be busy in the kitchen or something).

We pre booked a CNY set and a chicken soup pot, then we add on dishes. Serving is very slow, no matter it is meat, veges, beverages or dessert. Everything takes forever to serve.

The food portion is relatively small. We spent about RM145 per person but many didn’t go home with full stomach.

It’s a regrettable decision to do our company dinner here, i got blamed for choosing this place. Sigh.

I think if you are a small group, maybe you get better service.

I honestly left the same comment at the shop, and disappointingly I won’t visit again. I hope the owner can seriously look at understaff issues, the customer shouldn’t be paying for their management issues.

We ordered the marble beef. One place cost about RM44.90. The 1st plate that arrived was sad looking, with some parts looked grey. We returned it, and asked for another. The 2nd looked equally as bad, if not worse. It broke easily too :( so had to cook it in the ladle. Soups were 'meh'. The mala is indeed different, it's the drinkable type. The handmade meatballs are actually pretty good, I'd give that 4star (it does not standout from the other steamboat places though). The oolong tea taste a bit weird, friend said taste like chlorine (maybe we don't know that's actually how oolong tea taste like?).

Service was really sub par if I were to compare with other Chinese steam boat places. There were only 2 occupied tables during early lunch time, but we had to call for our soup to be replenished. It was bubbling thin that I couldn't cook my vege in it. By Chinese steamboat standards, it's a boo 👎

The ambience is nice though. Clean and bright. There are booths on both sides and tables in the centre. Aircond is nice and cool, not concentrated, as they have this nice fan thingy that disperse the air, though makes it look a bit tacky.

All in all, won't come again, won't really recommend unless to people who like me, make it a mission to try all steamboat...

Overall is good, can give a try, but prepared your wallet, their food is premium price.

Their dining table for 4 person seat, a bit small, not suitable if you want to order many on early stage. If for 2 person dining just perfect.

Staff service is average. The staff lack of warm service attitude, like a simple SMILE to greeting the customer.

Take note; their sauces section have additional charges/person. Maybe i overlooked the signage, but the staff should pre inform the customer too. (don't worry just 1 ringgit, haha)

Yes, come to the most important THE FOOD. Soup base is taste good, and dont underestimate their spicy hot pot, wait until the end. The food selection quite a lot, from meats to veggies. But again the price is premium, especially on the veggies and stuffed selection. This is Very Premium price for the ala cart order steamboat, almost can pair with HDL.

The price, still need to comment? If you willing to spend money on food, go give a try, if not stay away... Mine bill, 3 person 150.00..
