Chef Hugo has come along way. From a humble beginning as one of the 3 brothers operating Cheow Sang BKT in Aman Suria, he has acquired the cooking skills under the tutelage of the late Chef William Kwok (from HK) who himself used to helm Magic Wok, Aunty Sim & Regent just to name a few.

If you happen to pass by Aman Suria regularly, you'd notice the signage if "Cheow Sang Bah Kut Teh" has been replaced by "Hugo Kitchen" and thus branding himself in the culinary world.

A group of us booked a private room one day to enjoy our wines together with his creations.

◾Heavenly double boiled soup that whetted our throat for more. ◾Deep fried chicken wings with prawn paste had this crunchy batter that smelled heavenly with the taste of prawn paste. ◾Deep fried octopus with chilly sauce was almost perfect. ◾Claypot braised freshwater prawns with chee cheong fun for everyone raving as the CCF absorbed the sweet & savoury sauce. I couldn't resist eating a strand of the CCF to give it a taste - wished I could eat more! ◾Salt & Pepper mantis shrimp had this generously laden crispy minced garlic. ◾Special: Braised estuary grouper head (subject to availability and early booking) had me swooned. The gravy was thick and packed with essential flavour, while the braised fish head absorbed the gravy nicely. ◾Sweet & sour pork was good. ◾Braised pork trotter would appeal to everyone. ◾Blanched HK kailan was so crunchy and fresh. ◾Stir fried vegetable with black dace - my childhood favourite food with vegetable. ◾Special: HK imported luncheon meat personally cooked for us by Chef Hugo inside our room when we were still game for more.

From early days as BKT operator, now he has ventured into a newer territory and at the same time...

This is a popular Cantonese restaurant located in Sunway Mas area of Selangor.

The restaurant is operating in an intermediate shoplot. The setup is simple.

The standard of food preparation is good. The Braised Pork Trotter is highly recommended. May need to pre-book early. The Signature Braised Fish Head and Prawn Spring Rolls are recommended too.

Food portions are reasonable.

Service is fast and reasonable. Waiting time for food is surprisingly short and fast.

Cleanliness is acceptable.

Prices are reasonable. Cash and credit cards are accepted.

Public washroom is available.

Parkings are roadside parkings. Getting a parking space during peak hours may require some patience.

Handicapped patrons on wheelchairs can patronize this restaurant with some assistance.

The main drawback is due to space constraints, there may be a limited dining time.

20-12-3023 : The restaurant serves fantastic Steamed Hainanese Chicken. Fragrant and soft chicken texture is highly recommended. Besides Steamed Chicken, another recommendation is the Steamed...

This restaurant is a remake of the old Cheow Sang BKT and the famous fried fish head....'Chao Yue'. The remodeled restaurant can no longer be called Bah Kut Teh restaurant anymore for a few reasons. They are now a full service restaurant ...and service was prompt and good. Dishes offered are restaurant standard and pretty good by all acount. The famous Chau Yue was still good with flavourful sauces but sadly prices are sky high already. For a medium size plate it was RM44 so prices hv gone sky high after the new look restaurant. The biggest disappointment was the Bah Kut Teh.....if you can even called it BKT. The essence of the aromatic soup is gone. This thevis honest to goodness truth as i hv been supporting this restaurant for the...

Serves a variety of Chinese food and operated by a humble malaysian chef who have worked with and inspired by a chef from Hong Kong. Overall the food was delicious, and not overpowering. Love the clay pot water prawn with cheong fun, it’s amazingly tasty and perfectly cooked with wok. The BBQ squid was equally tasty, doneness was perfect texture. The pork intestines soup was so good, peppery taste was just nice and not overly peppery spicy. The chef was super friendly and humble. Highly recommended to make a reservation to avoid the long queue especially during the weekend. Staff was attentive and responsive.
