DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!!

2 dishes ONLY - Standard sized steam fishhead and Potato Leaves vege (and rice) costed RM80!! Ridiculously overpriced.

All because we turned down our 3rd dish (braised pork knuckle - which is another story because the size of the dish was RIDICULOUSLY huge - can feed up to 6 - 8 pax and not to mention, it came COLD). Now thinking back, i wonder how much the owner would have 'slaughtered' us for this pork had we not turn it down!! 🤯🤯

When asked to show the breakdown of our order, the order slip did NOT show the order for the pork. Which means, the owner clearly rewrote and repriced our order.

The old fashioned practice of an open-air chinese restaurant is to write customers' order down on paper with the pricing shown on the side. So now, since we cancelled a dish, in normal practice, the cancelled dish would have been striked off.

In our case, the entire order was rewritten and of course, the PRICING was CHANGED in the process to make up for the cancelled dish!! If not so, why the need to waste the time rewriting the breakdown?? 🤯😡

In the owner defense, pricing for everything has now increased. Yes bro, we acknowledge that we are all facing inflation but what you just did here is UNETHICAL. You do not treat your customers like this.

If only i knew this was coming i would have taken pictures to post them up too.

Let this just be a warning for you patrons who are thinking of choosing this place for a meal.

We need more restaurant owners who will run their business ethically and with integrity. And inflation or not, if you are really good, your customers will keep coming...

Steamed talapia fish with very reasonable big amount of ginger cost less that RM17.00 per reasonable large fish of 500 to 700 gm size.
