A nice place to chill after you've done all your shopping, genuine New Zealand ice-cream. I had their rum & raisins and also choc mint. They also serve freshly brewed coffee from coffee beans. And cool beanie bag to hang out upstairs. And if you have kids, they can play at the playground downstairs. No shoe is allowed at the beanie and playground. Relaxing music is played. And they sell honey, ice-cream and towel, which goes back to charity every month. So eat ice-cream and give back to charity. Price point is on the premium, but then again it's imported from the Kiwi land. So it's justified. They are the sole importer of Much Moore ice-cream. Own of the owners has been in the industry for the past 30 years. Their unique ice-cream is boysenberry and hokey pokey. The ice-cream here is on par or better than Baskin Robbins and Kapiti Ice-Cream.

My go-to ice cream parlour after a very spicy hotpot around the square. It serves New Zealand ice cream similar to Häagen-Dazs or Bens and Jerry. They have some of my favourite flavours here, which are salted caramel, maple fudge and walnut, and hokey pokey. Some of the ice cream flavours are award-winning. Previously there were 2 really friendly Syrian girls serving at the counter, but now it is the owner, I presumed. The service is excellent and friendly. They even sell pints of it with other flavours that are sinfully good.

Extremely questionable hygiene practices. Watched server used the same tongs to flip waffles and also to reach out for coffee bean bags. She also touched her neck and picked on her skin a lot while talking but we have not seen her wash her hands once or wore any gloves from taking payment to making drinks to scooping gelato… Anyway the waffle is tasteless and the gelato itself is so-so. Plenty of better artisanal gelato/ice cream out there at similar or lower price point. update: had diarrhoea that night

The lady who tended the counter between 12.30 to 1.30 pm on Saturday, 5th Sept 2020 was unfriendly and inattentive. I tried about 4 different flavours before deciding to get a scoop each of 2 different flavours, ie. 1 scoop of wildberry sorbet and 1 scoop of mocha fudge something. She asked if I wanted in a cup or a cone, I said in a cup please.

She might have misheard me because she then gave me 2 scoops of the sorbet and 2 scoops of the fudge - all in ONE cup. I gently told her, sorry and that she might have misunderstood me and that I wanted 1 scoop of the sorbet and 1 scoop of the fudge in one cup, not 2 scoops each of the flavours in one cup. She did not seem to understand and she said that she cannot mix 2 different flavours (1 scoop each) in one cup and proceeded to give me 1 scoop of sorbet in 1 cup and 1 scoop of fudge in a 2nd cup.

I was definitely confused at this point, because initially she put 2 scoops each of the 2 different flavours in one cup to be given to me.

After 5 mins of going back and forth trying to explain to her (very gently) what I meant and wanted, I gave up and said I've lost my appetite I'll just have 1 scoop of the sorbet.

1 scoop costs MYR 12.80, I gave her a MYR 100 bill and she asked for a smaller change, I checked my purse and luckily I had exactly MYR 13.00, I gave that to her, said thank you and asked her to keep her change - feeling slighty bad for her that she couldn't understand what I wanted.

The response to me doing that was not received well and quite disappointing -- she threw the 20 cents change in the tip box in a slight frustration. I say frustration because the sound of the 20 cents clanking in the tip box was loud. She did not apologise, nor did she say thank you.

And then I asked for water, by this time, her unfriendliness was definitely at the peak level, she did not sound nice at all when she told me to get it myself at the other side of the counter.

This was a rather disappointing first visit. I hope the management team would review this and perhaps give her more training. Or maybe she had a rather bad day, I hope she's feeling better now and to treat her customers with gentleness...

Been frequenting this cafe for the past years. Enjoyed their ice cream flavours, coffee and tea. Though no sample for the ice-cream, I often asked the staff to recommend me based on my level of sweetness. Till this far they have given me satisfactory recommendations. At times when my taste bud decided to be a bit adventurous, I would go for flavours which I was informed by the staff that this could be too sweet for my liking (I went ahead anyway). Well, it turned out, the staff were right. The flavours should be left for those with high tolerance of sugar level😊. My usual flavours are "Boysenberry Ripple, Wild Berry Sorbet, Strawberry and sometimes Vanilla ". The cafe do offer seasonal flavours too. I recently missed out "Rocky Road" (sigh). On my personal note, I have had good times at the cafe. Good ambience and staff who are approachable and knowledgeable to introduce me the flavours that are measurable to my sugar level(which is low) & of course I consume lots of coffee and tea. The tea selection is not wide but is good enough for me. My usual is "Blood Orange". As for hygiene matter, I have never experienced a filthy sink nor tables. My personal opinion is both staff, Isha and Farwa have been very welcoming and warm. Note -There was once I ordered my tea and left untouched. During the next visit, they asked me if there was anything wrong with the tea served as the glass was untouched. I was surprised by their attentiveness and assured them that it wasn't the drink.. I had to leave due to some...

There’s few issue I need to address publicly as per below:

  1. I ordered a chicken mushroom pie,but I wasn’t aware that the restaurant didn’t place any price tag at every food and beverage at all and I was charged RM23 for it. According to Price Tag Enforcement 1997, it must place a price tag on each item or sample of the items displayed for sale.

  2. Secondly, I anticipated 30 minutes for the staff to prepare the food for me when there isn’t anyone else in the restaurant.

  3. The chicken mushroom I ordered as I told earlier, it came to me that the food was cold inside. Despite apology wasn’t given, the staff wasn’t too, attempt to reheat the food and insisted not to refund any money to me instead of replace me with a scoop of ice cream. I’m certain that the scoop of ice cream wasn’t match the value of the cold food provided by the...
