Verdict: Humble Chef started off as a food truck business in 2007 near Pusat Bandar Damansara and has established an outlet in Damansara Heights in 2010. They have officially relocated from Damansara Heights to The Curve, Mutiara Damansara and their new outlet is worth visiting if you’re a pasta lover 😍💯 Ran by a lovely couple, known to many as Mr and Mrs Humble, their homey western styled food is a crowd pleaser because of its taste and price 👌🏻 At only RM9, you can get yourself a huge plate of pasta with meat of your choice (chicken/lamb/beef). The best part is that all their dishes are made freshly upon order and everything on the menu is customisable to your liking. From spicy or not spicy, to meat of your choice, you name it - Mr Humble will cook it to your preference 🤩 It’s unbelievable to find a restaurant in a mall that serves such good food at such an affordable price 🥹 Trust me, you will be surprised the minute you step into this humble restaurant - Simple setup, zero pretence.

Quesadilla was a 10/10 😚 It was thin with the right ratio of filling. Cheesy and moist on the inside, and nicely grilled on the outside. The fries on the side were so so good too!! Better than any other I’ve tasted!! The seasoning and herbs made it so flavourful and the potatoes used gave it a fluffy interior. I may look like a potato now, but one day I'll turn into fries and you'll all want me then. 🍟😜 Honestly don’t think you will go back to eating normal fries after trying theirs 😝 Spicy Tuna Sandwich was also very comforting. They really mastered the skill of ratio filling so it’s not too much or too less 👌🏻 It has the right amount of ingredients in it making it the most perfect creation ever 🤤

Fried pasta was revolutionary. When East meets West, you know it’s gonna get wild 😏 This pasta goreng was wholesome - it resembles a mee hoon goreng but a spaghetti version. The ravenous Aishwarrya that lives inside me immediately woke up after my first bite of it. The cut chilli really spiced things up 🌶 This dish is so underrated!! Y’all got to try it 😩👌🏻 I was also awestruck by the presentation of the Mac & Cheese - it was served in a cauldron 😍 Halloween is coming soon so here’s an idea on where to eat because it reminds me of a witch’s cauldron 🧙🏻‍♀️🎃🧹 The lamb bits gave the pasta a meaty texture and a more intense flavour. I appreciate how generous they were with the cream sauce and it was topped with melted cheese. Not jelak and portion is just nice 🥰

Service is excellent; you will feel welcomed the minute you step inside and the owners are so humble and friendly 🥹❤️ Pls go check out this humble restaurant if you’re craving for pasta - it might not taste like those fancy Italian restaurants, but I assure you that the food here is so comforting, and you will surely be satisfied with the food, given the affordable price tag 🫶🏻💵 Where can you get an omelette for RM5 and pasta for below...

I am in love with all the aspects of this restaurant. The food, the vibe, the price etc. Of course, it could be turned into an argument if we were to consider the limited choices of food there yet I believe that's what makes this place special in its own right.

I've gone to this restaurant several times now and one thing I'm sure of is that if you go and eat here 6 months or dare I say even a year ago and you were to eat at this place now, the food will taste the same. This restaurant, its staff as well as its owner, really put all their effort in ensuring customers attain consistency in their delicacies.

Yeah, sure, the wait time is below average in terms of its speed. However, once you get your food, you'll be satisfied due to two main reasons i.e., the food will always taste good and the price will always be affordable.

I've gone to countless 'fancy' restaurants that pride themselves on the fact that they sell one of the best cuts and types of meat in the world i.e., wagyu beef etc. Nevertheless, the common pattern with all these 'fancy' restaurants is, once they attain a huge customer base, they WILL slack off in the aspects of their customer service and food quality. With this restaurant, you won't experience such things due to the owner's genuine passion to serve excellent food and provide great customer service to the customers.

This is a place where you can chill, hangout, and have a fun time with your family and friends because of its secluded location where not a lot of people walk by and accidentally watch you enjoying your food, which can be a bit awkward after some time.

So, yeah, thank you for reading this lengthy review, I hope you pay a visit to this restaurant and try it first. If it's not to your liking, then all I can say is that we humans have this concept called 'preferences', so it's okay if you have the opposite opinion about this place than I do....

The atmosphere is vibrant as we came to visit on a weekday evening. I went to try several dishes as I heard that many of them are popular. My hunger level at the point in time was moderate. My personal favourite was the 'Fried Laksa' as the flavour was rich, full of flavour and had a kick of spice which was amazing. The next dish was the popular 'Mac & Cheese' and I am usually not a fan of this type of dish but was taken back by the texture as it wasn't too creamy/ thick nor too watered/ milky. The 'Lucky Lamb Chop' portion was just nice - cutting the meat was easy and wasn't the type where it would be chewy and tough to cut. The meat was done just right and with the sauce complimented the dish beautifully. The 'Chicken Cutlet' was perfect where you were still able to taste the moisture of the meat and was bursting full of flavour.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied as all the portions were just enough and at a reasonable price too. I have recommended the branch to friends and family as it's one of the hidden gems. You will not be disappointed, let your taste buds ride on the rollercoster.
