Looking for sourdough and I found this tucked up next to a small park. The food experience is just awesome. Gotta make a next visit soon. my summary of food and drink review: Cappuccino hot: Right on spot, so delicious and very much to my liking 👍, so similar to O brien's cappuccino but I now prefer this instead. Raising scone [takeaway given mascarpone cream and strawberry jam]: The scone is so delicious especially when dipped in the mascarpone cream. Sugar level is just nice, not too sweet. My new found scone hunting shop. Tomato basil soup: Now this comes in set with my turkey ham sandwich, I simply luv the amount of soup given and wished I had few pieces of plain or walnut sourdough slices [I bought takeaway and took a few slices to eat with the soup] to dip in it. The combination is perfect. The sandwich is so rich that I can only eat half portion and keep the balance for my next meal. Walnut chocolate sourdough cookie: Bought takeaway since it's the last cookie left, and had it today, Really heavenly feel, the sweetness is just nice, texture of the sourdough cookie makes me want to head back and get another. Classic Cinnamon roll: my starter which reminds me of the classic taste of cinnamon without over sugary taste. Perfect! Mee Jawa: My mom had this half position and half I have tasted, it was so good but very filling indeed. Suggest to bring own takeaway boxes if you can't finish your food, do have it after so don't waste such good food. Cranberry sourdough bread: The bread of this quality can only be found here, and probably from the many sourdough breads that I've tasted, yours is one of the very few most genuine one I totally approve this 👍
Overall, This place sure is dangerous for me, lol. Why I say so is because the sugar level in each pastry [cookie, scone, and cinnamon roll] and the cranberry sourdough bread that I have bought takeaway, tasted and all of it was spot on, not too sweet and not too bland either. Just a pity it's so far off for me, but I think I can make a weekend trip just for u.
The price is actually quite standard compared to other similar cafes, I wouldn't say the food is overpriced because the portion can cater actually for two if you're a light eater because the food is of good quality and is very rich so you get fillled up fast even with half portion. Thumbs up and hope you preserve the food quality for us to be back...

Wheatcraft Artisan Bakery is a gem for anyone who appreciates high-quality food and craftsmanship. During my visit, I had the chance to try several of their offerings, and each item was a delightful experience in its own right.
First and foremost, the sourdough pan mee soup was a standout. The innovative twist of using sourdough noodles added a tangy depth that paired beautifully with the rich, flavorful broth. It was hearty, comforting, and felt like a hug in a bowl—a perfect blend of tradition and creativity.
Next, the croissant with egg mayo was buttery and flaky on the outside, with a generous and creamy egg mayo filling. The balance of textures and flavors was spot on, making it an indulgent yet satisfying option.
The sourdough bread with scrambled egg was another highlight. The bread had the perfect chew and tanginess that only well-fermented sourdough can deliver. The scrambled eggs were creamy and well-seasoned, creating a simple yet elevated dish that showcases the bakery’s dedication to quality.
For drinks, I ordered a mocha and a long black, and both exceeded expectations. The mocha was rich and chocolatey without being overly sweet, while the long black was robust and aromatic, perfect for those who appreciate a strong, smooth coffee.
Portion sizes were satisfying and left me feeling well-fed but not overstuffed. That said, I do think the prices are on the higher side, but considering the quality of ingredients, attention to detail, and overall experience, it felt like a worthwhile indulgence.
Overall, Wheatcraft Artisan Bakery is a haven for food lovers seeking exceptional baked goods and thoughtful dishes. The creativity in their menu and the dedication to excellence truly set them apart. I can’t wait to come back and try more of...
Read moreIt feels almost shameful that this little café has slipped off our radar all these years - tucked barely ten minutes away from PJ Trade Center, where we’ve worked for over a decade. At lunchtime, the place thrums with nearby office workers and neighborhood regulars, a quiet testament to its loyal following.
We went straight for the house signatures: sourdough noodle bowls, namely the mee jawa and the pan mee. They arrived brimming, positively overflowing with a carnival of toppings and condiments. The mee jawa’s broth was lush and velvety, thickened with sweet potato and deepened with squid sambal - rich yet balanced. Floating within were slices of fried tofu, hard-boiled egg, crisp vegetables and aromatic herbs, a flutter of fried shallots, and the crowning crunch of a prawn cracker. The pan mee, no less generous, carried shiitake mushrooms, minced chicken, golden anchovies, and a molten onsen egg that bled silkily into the broth.
In both bowls, the condiments nearly overwhelm the noodles, making you long for just a little more of those springy, bouncy strands beneath. But flavor-wise? Flawless. Bold, comforting, and entirely on point.
We plan to return to savour their sandwiches...
