Pasta Ohsem & Purple Monkey Damansara Perdana — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

I went in to Pasta Ohsem to have a hot drink as it was raining heavily and I could not get to my car.

I was touched by the kindness showed by Shaiful who was the waiter I met when he saw the winds were strong and the rain so heavy …he actually called 2 persons who were outside and getting wet by the strong winds to come in and wait👍💛😊

His thoughtfulness is admirable…kudos to the owners of Pasta Ohsem for people with a big heart 👍😊👏

I also wish to express my thanks to Mustakim @ Bud (hope I spelled your name correctly) another staff at Pasta Ohsem who had finished his duty and was going off …but took time to help me with an umbrella do I get to my car thank you @Bud …much appreciated 👍💛😊

Visited mid afternoon, so no crowd at all. Fairly short wait of 10min for food to arrive. Pleasent dining hall with nice amount of natural light. Pasta carbonara portion was good. Nicely al dente, creamy and flavorful, but slightly lacking in taste, maybe to compensate for strong flavors of other dishes. Would have been very flat if eaten on it's own. Coleslaw was nice with fresh crunchy cabbage. Large portion, almost too much for single diner. BBQ burnt end was very enjoyable and the tangy sauce goes well with the more subtle pasta. Iced honey lemon drink was refreshing. Dessert was bite sized cheesecake with chocolate sauce. Cold and nice, but served without cutlery, had to reuse pasta fork. Overall good meal, but...

I don’t recall how many times I’ve been here for lunch hahah I even take all of my officemates to eat here. All the food is delicious and this is my favourite lunch place! ❤️❤️

Personal favourite are Creamy Tomyum Buttermilk Chicken Rice and Tomyum Carbonara also their Cheesecake bites!! ❤️😍

The Thai Milk Tea is my favourite as well! And love the purple monkey dessert!

The restaurant is very clean, beautiful, calming!!! And the staff are all friendly! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

P/s: their lunch set is very worth it! You only pay for the main dish and free drink with cheesecake bites!! Please come and enjoy all the food and...
