The colourful signage attracted my attention as I passed by Ipoh Sedap on a hot Sunday afternoon. Spotting huge crowd enjoying their food inside, I told myself to come here one day.

That day came - securing a proper parking SS2 on peak hours require sheer luck and I was lucky that afternoon. Service was quite fast and we got our order fairly quickly too.

◾Yong Taufu selection from the counter in front of the shop - I have to highlight the availability of fried turnip which is a common sight in Perak, but not many places in Klang Valley offer this. A bit dry due to over-frying so they might want to look at this. Pair these YTF with noodles, CCF or even rice. ◾Noodles - choose from kuey teow, beehoon, Hakka Mee, yellow mee or Lou shu fun. The curry Hakka mee that I ordered was actually quite nice. I read that the hor fun isn't that nice so I didn't order. ◾ Hakka mee with minced pork - mix everything and wallop! ◾Ipoh chee cheong fun with minced pork - I love the addition of minced pork (extra cost) into the CCF. The pickled green chilly paired very well with the minced meat, aided by the aromatic fried shallots & sesame. The reddish sweet sauce was served separately so feel free to add the amount you prefer. ◾Surprisingly they made a good glass of white kopi ais. ◾Ipoh Lime Jelly Shaved Ice is their take on the popular Taiwan Ai Yu Bing, I quite like the addition of Asam boi.

The food was OK but couldn't compare to the ones from Ipoh itself. Hope that they can improve...

Very unprofessional restaurant service ever! During FMCO I walk in buy takeaway food which is steam salted chicken in sealed plastic box . When I reach just reach home just realise that my new car cushion seat is wet, and find out the plastic box corner is not close. I know I can’t claim any lost of my cushion cleaning fee. But here pls, I don’t blame if this shop is high peak busy business, the fact is this restaurant business is super quiet during FMCO , 4-5 the local staff standing infront of shop doing nothing, since you guys are so free , and the sales business is down , pls focus on your job , do it properly. If continue like this , I wish this shop closed down like other shop during...

Order "take away" from Restaurant Ipoh Sedap (PJ SS2) recently. Food was so so. Nothing much to shout about.

When the bill came out, it was expensive that the small plain looking "Chee Cheong Fun" cost RM 5.00. Other place in PJ SS 3 only cost RM 1.60.

I don't mind the higher price of Young Tau Foo cost RM 1.50 per piece but a plain looking Chee Cheong Fun cost RM 5.00 that is a bit absurd. Purely profiteering from the stall. Attached is the bill, photo of the take away food and I add in photo from a popular PJ SS 3 Young Tou Fu stall for price comparison.

Honestly if you can, give this place a miss as other place can offer better quality food and...
