A regular patron for economy rice ever since 2013. Sadly the uncle who usually cooks for economy rice has recently passed away (May 2025). 🙏
Uncle and aunty were very friendly and generous to charge their customers and the shop always full of crowd during lunch time.
Now the economy rice stall has been taken over by another aunty, food wise not bad, delicious too. Price is slightly pricier but still pretty decent in my opinion.
Kinda miss economy rice cooked by uncle. However, life goes on.
The drink and dimsum in this shop are highly recommended!

"dirt cheap" Next time you want to "kira" ask the "si tau poh" 🤪 the place is clean and abide very strictly to the SOP during the MCO.
