Seri Semporna (Sunway Mentari) — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

This restaurant is getting worst. At first I don’t really want to do any review for this restaurant but it keep getting out of hand. Ive been in and out this restaurant for more than a year as this restaurant is reachable and convenient for me.

Their customer service is bad. When you come to this restaurant, the staffs (who mostly likely lepak at the table near counter) will look at you as if they never see human being before. They also not friendly at all and talk very loudly among themselves to the point that it affect the customer’s enjoyance. At the table, you need to request for tissue instead of they provide it to you. Sometimes, even their fan is not on.

The price. Ive notice their price is increasing over the time. For example, mi tauhu ala carte last year was around RM8.50. For set RM12.00 or RM12.50 like that. The differences between mi tauhu ala carte and set is only telur goreng. Their telur goreng definitely costs a lot. Then recently, I saw their mi tauhu’s price. Now they don’t serve mi tauhu ala carte. Only mi tauhu set that cost RM13.00???? Definitely sudden increase with no added value.

The taste. Their food taste also inconsistent. Some days you can taste their bakso, decent, some days are salty and some days no taste at all. Probably can improve on the food’s consistency instead of increasing price without any additional value to your food.

Ive also takeaway/pickup from them several times. I would says that their service is not systematic at all. For example, I already order for pickup at 5pm. Then 5.30pm the notification to pickup food pop out. Then at 6pm I pick up the food and turns out the food not ready yet??? Another things is they always mix up order. Last time I ordered tauhu goreng and they gave me tauhu pentol something. We people pay our food using our hard earn money. Please double check the order. Sometimes they just left the order at the table and mix up the order. Whats the point of you having your online system but you dont know which is which? There this one time where Im in rush, I ordered bakso for pickup and then went home. At home, i just realized they didnt give me the soup. I contacted them and they send the soup via lalamove. Guess what? They just ordered the lalamove and let me pay for the lalamove? Make it make sense. You messed up my order, then I have to pay for delivery??

Overall, its like a gamble eating here. Sometimes nice sometimes not. But please the owner should concern about you customer service. Please read all the reviews. The people consistently gave bad review to you thus take some action. Reflect and come...

I came here for 3 to 4 times. When I came here for the first time, I really suprised and vey exicited to try it. Unfortunely the service is not going well. Have to remind the staff about my food still didn’t ready. I came again for the second, third and the forth times, and still need to remind the staff about my food is not ready. Until I asked to cancel it due to waiting so loog (1 hour plus). My concern here, why need to keep reminding, we ordered already, that is the responsibility of the restaurent to make sure all the food is served properly. the food is good, but the service need to upgrade. Apa org kata, takkan lah kita order kita jg yg kasih ingat makanan apa kita order. Cth haritu order tayyum, sejam lebih tggu oh, sampai saya cancel. Pros Ikan bakar was quite nice the Ikan merah was better it was abit sweet the pari was marinated before and somewhat the pari taste like satay sauce Price was reasonable got a big pari for RM41 and 1 small Ikan merah for RM15 Kailan Ikan kering was the best imo

Cons have to add on RM2.50 for the rice and the rice given was so small service was not good no one mentioned that we had to scan the QR at the corner of the table and they just ignored us when we wanted to order and there were only 4 tables there. Payment is not systematic they had to go back and fourth with the Ikan bakar guy to get how much I had to pay. We were just standing there at the counter for around 10mins before they got the total

Conclusion Ikan bakar was good but the service was poor hopefully they will see this and improve...
