Food was ok although the salted vege soup was surprisingly sweet this time. Service however, was just horrid towards the end.
There was a large group of maybe 12-14 when we walked in around 6pm who were done with their meal. We sat at the small table by the door. No staff to be seen. A few minutes in we ordered, and ate.
Now here comes the horrid/lousy part - first we asked to help pack the bowl of soup, to which the (one and only) frontline lady staff said “oh tapau ke? Tunggu” and she was standing right next to us “busy” holding the door for that large group earlier as they were leaving. Good gesture BUT when you are the only one there, and other customers are asking you to actually DO something, how can you make them wait and watch you hold the door for others when they were so many capable men to hold the door for the 1 elderly person?
It didn’t end there - i got up to pay the bill at the counter. There was a male guy, i’m guessing kitchen staff who was sitting there. And so i asked him to help pack the food (same thing i told the lady staff), so me watching the lady holding the door, walking to the counter, asking the guy to pack and STILL, the lady is yet to be seen. Only she can handle payments apparently.
I was asked to wait, to which i refused coz my time was being wasted for NOTHING. Where was the lady staff? OUTSIDE with the group that just left doing god knows what. Of course i called her out after she came in and i told her that she shouldn’t make people wait for her while she’s kaypoh-ing out there. What happened to your service Mohamad Chow DP?? For your sake,...
Read moreWe came in a group of 10 people to have our CNY dinner/Yee Sang there. So, we ordered the set B (RM48.80). Good thing about Mr. Chan was that the service was fast, food was delish and freshly cooked plus the portion was big with a variety of dishes. The best dish was the Steamed Siakap with Lemon and Chilli (even though the fish was not that fresh). But, the least tasty dish was the Fried Tahu Sumbat 'cos the Tauhu was deep fried till it's dry and chewy and the sauce and garnishing was really sweet. Apart from that, it was hard to get parking there as there has been MRT construction going on in that area. The restaurant itself can't occupy many people as it is fairly small. Oh, another pro was that the staff was very friendly and helpful too so it made us feel comfortable to communicate with them. So, I would definitely recommend this...

Actually we wanted to add more to the table, but the waiter advised us to keep our order to 4 menus first instead of adding.. pheww. Thank God we listen to her advice. The portion is so big 👍
I hope they can open 1 branch soon in Shah Alam (please thank you). I wish to try another menu in the list soon. Thank you for making our experience v good with your food 🫰🏻
