Restoran Nasi Kandar Salam (24 Jam) — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Been here a few time throughout the years and it used to be very good but in the last year, it’s deteriorated due to new staff or something else. Chicken tikka took an hour and it was four miserly pieces of over dried chicken which took an hour to make. They used to have a manager but now there doesn’t to be anyone in charge at all. The only guy who looked in charge was saying that’s how long it takes to make tikka and having eaten this at ma y places, I know it doesn’t take that long. He was unfriendly. We had ordered a dosai and it wasnt served to us but left at the back for quite some till i walked up to them to get it myself. These guys passed it many times but couldn’t be bothered with picking it up. An hour later they serve the miserly chicken tikka. They charge 17 rm for this tikka. See photo below, this was how it looked. The naan was good, chicken was a four miserable dry pieces of jerky. Service was not good ant all. I do not know what has happened to this place but it has deteriorated. . I thought give them one more chance but this is it, won’t be coming again. Against the services rendered by the staff (especially the manager or something else without uniforms)

Owing to the very poor service. I wish to air my complaints, I was unhappy with the staff attitude and also the quality of food ! Maggi goreng , (have to goreng again by my own )the spices are all pilled together in one piece Staff always forgot your order , took nearly 30minute for a food. What made matters worse was that after waiting for so long , the waiter brought you the wrong food ! 4.cant order second time ? Manager scold me why I did not order the food at once . ( I can’t order another food if I can’t get full ? ) 5 . Price is already expensive then most of the near you mamak ,service stil so terrible ?

I work at nearby and always had my food at this restaurant, I have always seen a lot diners being serve by the rude service and leave with unhappy , and there is no way to complain.

Was very annoyed with the staff here. Ordered via a staff the nasi kandar set consisting rice, fried chicken, sayur and telur masin RM11.50 that comes with an optional free teh o ais or sirap ais. Added rice but didn't take the sayur.

One staff came and issued the bill to me while i was eating that stated RM12.00 for nasi kandar and RM2.00 for teh o ais with total bill RM14.00 including SST 6%. I told him i took the set and he ignored me then said speak to the manager.

Went to the counter to pay and argued why put the set promo if gonna charge customers differently. Told him remove the set promo rather than misleading customers. He shut up and charged me RM12.00.

My issue wasn't the price of the food but staff not being ethical. I don't even mind paying more but the fried chicken was old and dry, horrible curry. First and last coming here, i was in and out...
