Rollti (The Starling Mall) — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Oct 19, 2023: This is terrible. I ordered 2 beef, 1 Kari and 1 Rendang to take away. They gave me both chicken and what looks like a lot of cheese. I can't take cheese. Just a waste of food for me. The chicken also looks like it's not cooked or grilled or anything, plain and white. They even put the beef sticker on the wrapper, making me believe I was getting what I ordered when leaving the shop. Simply unacceptable mistake.

Oct 23,2023: An update about a refund. Managed to call them within an hour of ordering. The person handling the call promised to give me a refund within 30 minutes. Nothing happened that day. Next morning received a WhatsApp text asking for my account details to process the refund; provided them my TnG QR code, another promise to refund by the end of the day. But until today, 4 days later, still have not received any refund. Almost forgot about it until I noticed there is a reply to my review asking me if the refund is done properly? Am wondering if the establishment is serious about making things right, can't the "Owner" check on their own if the "Team" has indeed processed the refund? Am starting to feel that the person who answered the call, the person who sent me the WhatsApp message, and the "owner" who replied my review are just regular employees, none of them are authorized to do a refund. Decided to purchase from Rollti as we stopped frequenting a similar outlet selling wraps on the same floor due to inconsistency of their quality.

They are truly an asset to Rollti @ Starling Mall and deserve a shout-out. Hopefully other Rollti staff can replicate the good service rendered. 💐

✨We have been there on a couple of occasions and both Thet & Emad were consistent in providing great service, are friendly and would explain things when asked.

The workspace looks very clean ✅ and I can see that they work hard to maintain the cleanliness of the area.

In addition, the portion of their roti canai wraps are VERY generous. They offer savoury, sweet and even vegan wraps.

You are also able to customise certain ingredients to your liking (as an example, request for additional topping of 🧀 Mozarella Cheese is RM 3).

As it was a Saturday, we chose Chicken Sambal Meletop for RM 9.99. They offer different types of wraps on different days similar to Subway and we feel that this is a brilliant idea 💡

Our go to is the Beef ChilLa GrillLa and our 8 year old truly loves it!

The two standouts are Chicken Sambal Meletop and Chicken Sate Puas. The sambal sauce is awesome and legit and so is the sate sauce. The addition of peanuts and cripsy ikan bilis elevated the taste of the Chicken Sambal Meletop (warning : it is quite fiery hot) . On the same note, the addition of cucumbers and sliced raw onions as well as crushed peanuts made the Chicken Sate Puas outstanding.

The reason I did not give 5 stars is because the sauce given is not enough to coat the fillings. You get pockets of filling where it is devoid of sauce. See my photos and you will get what I mean. One and a half scoops (or even two scoops) of sauce would be about right. I also tried the beef fillings and the sardin. Sardin is just ordinary and Beef Mimpi Kari is quite good except that the beef that day was gamey and strong smelling.

The service for the drinks section could be improved as it can be on the slow side.

Dine in experience may not be ideal as the space is small and cramped and located at an awkward location at the end of the floor. But it is not that bad if you are not fussy and don't care about ambiance.
