I had the lamb pizza, pesto pasta and wild boar varuval. Tastes great and it was affordable too. I would definitely want to come back to eat and try other food they have on the menu.
Lamb pizza (4/5) I would say above average for thinned crust pizza but not like super amazing as I think thinned crust pizza seems to have some good competition out there, I would like to try other pizzas and I may edit this in the future. The topping was good though.
Pesto pasta (4.5/5) It doesn't have the strong basil smell like some pestos so this would suite the general population more, though i don't mind the strong basil smell. It can be slightly oily for some as well so to manage your expectations when you try. The taste for me as amazing, the sauce and the amount of bacon given for the price is just too good of a deal.
Wild boar varuval (5/5) It's rare to see wild boar dishes (or maybe it's just me), and cooked in this style. I can't take spicy and it was quite spicy for me, but i still loved the taste of it. I was enjoying it although i was mildy sweating. The bread was added on separately, they said normally people just eat it as it is but I wanted something to go with it. (RM5 for two slices of toast - and the toast was good unexpectedly, it was fluffy)
The only possible thing to pay more attention to is that at night, the surrounding area is quite dark and might be scary to a walk alone to your car afterwards, so probably good to park nearer or come...
Read moreService: This is what we HATE the most about this place. The waitress speaks and understands Little to no English. When soup was done, no one came to clear it up despite the restaurant having little customers. Pizzas came 45 minutes later. When asked how long does it take for Pizzas to be done, was told 10-15 mins. Yeah right. People who came before us got theirs way before ours. Nice. If i could put a zero or -1 rating for service, I would!
Food: Pizzas are ok only. Thin HARD crust that scraps the top of your mouth. Toppings fall off the pizzas, little to no cheese. Pizzas are unevenly oven baked. Some parts soggy, some hard as rock, burnt. Mushroom soup was very average and salty too. Tastes like canned soup with sauteed mushrooms with butter and garlic.
Atmosphere. Nice lights, nice tables and chairs. No background music, flat atmosphere.
Conclusion: We have seriously tried loving this place. Everytime we had our Pizzas delivered, they came to us cold, hard, and freaking freaking late (1+ hour). This time we thought we will try the Pizzas right at the door step of the restaurant and we are STILL very disappointed. This will be the last and final time we're coming here for Pizzas. Freaking...
Read moreI rarely give bad reviews as I believe tastebuds is very subjective. But when your food is served without much taste, pizza dough is from frozen pastries, pineapple that has no taste, sauces with no salt, you knew it’s not your tastebud.
We told the waitress about it and was hoping the second pizza will come out better but unfortunately it was a disappointment again.
The Lasagna was as disappointing as it’s just meat in tomato sauce without any pasta sheet.
Did not bother to take photo of the pork noodle (again under with taste and need generous amount of soya sauce) and the pesto pasta which were more green than it should, with pieces of fried bacon - and under seasoned overall.
The table is sticky and when we asked if it’s wiped, we were told “it’s original”, whatever that meant.
For the price paid, service rendered, food quality… giving 2 stars is actually very generous…
And Skippy “pizza” used to be good.
I guess will skip...
