17 Hills Restaurant — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

came here to celebrate my sister's birthday so we decided to reserve a table beforehand and the number which was stated on google was not reachable? had to go to their IG's site to get the latest number (what a hassle just please update your number on google page) and then tried contacted for SO MANY TIMES both call and whatssaped multiple times politely but was left on bluetick?? like helloo? thinking that they are super busy with reservations and handling kitchen matters so we decided to just walk-in and hoping that we can still get a table but to our shock upon arrival the restaurant was EMPTY??? it was only the 4 of us. feeling very disappointed and was not really off to a good start.

bdw the menu offers ample choices and we ordered our food. the place was huge, nicely decorated and the ambience was nice but not quiet as what we expected so its okay. the food arrived and the chicken burger patty was too greasy/oily for my liking (ordered spicy chicken burger which was sadly not spicy at all, the spicy point being the sauce which had like a micro hint of mustard? so it was kind of a let down. the pasta was lovely and had the most perfecttt 'al dente'ness so that was a 10/10.the drinks were otherwise nice and hit the spot.

the price was okay. the service was not taking too much time, its nice / preferrable if they can serve plain water/top up refil water for customers instead of us having to request for it.

kudos to the very humble and friendly all-smiling lady manager (she is the winning point despite the basic food) and please kindly update the phone...

The one thing that really sticks with me is the menu. I love the originality of it. Also i think i've tried a big chunk of the items on the menu, and i have to say, i've enjoyed every single one of them. I guess they really do know what they are doing back in the kitchen. I don't normally say this kind of stuff but it's true. I have yet to find a dish i don't really like.

Ambiance wise, don't expect posh. Well it belongs to the don for a reason. It feels more like your second home rather than a fancy night out but the whole thing kind of works in this case. Live music on the weekend is always a plus. Sitting arrangements are not too packed so even for people with tiny little children, it'll still be comfortable. Staff are friendly, so huge plus there. I don't know, some places i think one should just give it a go and experience it themselves, and this place is definitely one of them. Like i said, it's not a fancy night out but there's something about this restaurant that makes you want...

Came to this posh restaurant last night for a sumptuous dinner with the family. We ordered 1 laksa johor, 3 pasta, 2 large pizza, 2 soup and 4 ice cream. It was superb. The food has that authentic Italian street walk cafe taste with a hint of fresh Italian herbs and spices I kid you not. Having working and stayed in Milan for quite sometime, this is a very pleasant surprise especially when the most exclusive restaurants in town failed hands down to duplicate that exquisite taste. Another surprise is in store. The price is dirt cheap and almost impossible to believe. For all those fantastic dishes we paid slightly less than RM200 for a pax of 7..!! Come and taste the good food here. You won't regret it and trust me you will come back for more..!!...
