Ordered special menu of the week which is not even listed yet on the board so I guess we got the 'chef's special' & DID NOT DISSAPPOINT yaaaa 😋😋

Though not a regular here but whenever we came we've enjoyed their service as well as the food. As they put out a notice at their entrance that you've got to wait to be seated so we waited quite a long time. Not complaining about this because they look short staffed just like a lot of other restaurants. Finally when we were given a seat our orders were taken. I'd ordered Claypot chicken rice salted fish. We'd had to wait over 30 minutes just for 2 dishes for 2 pax (Nasi grg petai and the claypot rice). When my claypot finally came, to my shock it was absolutely cold. I was confused how come that a claypot rice can be served cold. I was even more shocked to see that the bottom half of the rice was plain white rice. The rice was not even charred. It seemed the gravy was cooked separately and just dumped over rice after placing it in the claypot. Not sure if they've forgotten to cook claypot rice or just have no idea on how to cook it. Ordered the Fried Chicken Chop with Black Pepper Sauce because someone recommended it on Google review.

It is edible. Not great, but edible. Portion does seem large but it's just a presentation. French fries are the kind of wholesale frozen pack. Garlic bread is literally the Gardenia white bread, like half slice.

Chicken chop is basically a lie as it's just pounded chicken breast flatten out widely, can see cut is so thin. Also, the breading is done poorly as it fell off from the chicken so easily (the crumbs are also the cheapest type), the sauce is too thick and starchy, it does give me an impression they were using the sauce premix.

The points mentioned above are acceptable if it's selling at around RM 15. But this costs RM21.30 and I don't feel it's justified. However, the best thing about the cafe is their service, staffs are very attentive and polite.
