Hotel Strawberry Fields — Hotel in Petaling Jaya

Stayed here for almost 6 days to attend a training at Amcorp Mall. I am a solo traveller so this is the review based on my experience.

Room: For a deluxe room, there are basic necessities (towels, shower cap, soap, tv, air cond, socket, shower heater and water heater). The room is cleaned daily, refreshment is also topped up daily if im not mistaken (i did not use any of the refreshment as i spend most of my time outside, but i noticed the increase of mineral water bottle during the second day). The room is spacious enough for one person but may be a little cramped for two people (the bed in my room is a single queen size bed). But if may so, please request for a windowed room. It may feels a little stuffy in a no-windowed room (but hey the window painting on the wall did make the room better in my opinion). Also the wifi during my stay is quite fast.

Location: Hotel location in my opinion is very strategic. You have various food options right around your hotel. It is situated in a way that it is not always busy. LRT Taman Asia is a short walk from there (around 15 minutes) and Grab option is abundant (from Hotel to Amcorp Mall during peak hour costs RM 8 to RM 10). There are also many ATMs around the area. 7/11, KKMart and other convenience store also right around the area.

Staff: The staff is very friendly to me. They gave suggestions on where to eat or where is the nearest ATM and things like that.

I m sorry but to give three star because of my experience in the hotel . Staff were friendly . Check in was smooth . Unfortunately parking is a big problem for me at working hour as well as lunch hour because u cannot find parking as u need to go around and around and try ur luck . Location was good , many nice food around . ||Here come the room . Room was spacious . Just nice . Heres the problem. I book this hotel I expect a quiet room . Unfortunately my first night was terrible . There is someone next to my room cleaning , flushing something like room cleaning at midnight !!!! Yes midnight I can hear everything very clearly !!!! I check my phone is 3am ! Oh my god ! I had a terrible night . Sound proofing is terrible ! The other two night is still ok , no more noise but still can hear...

I stayed here for solid two weeks. I frequently moved rooms due to different bookings made by me as I had no idea how long I will be in Petaling Jaya. I immediately noticed that the wall paintings are some sort of an attraction of its own. There were trees, musical notes, adorable cats, artistic sketches and God knows how many they were. I didn't expect this to be honest. Great little entertainment to myself. Hence, I like to think this as a boutique hotel rather than your average hotel.||||The bathrooms are spacious. TV channels are OK. Air conditioner does it job. Just be extra cautious because some rooms do not have window at all ! Hence no view.
