Yilo Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Came here during 3rd day of CNY and the service is really bad. Made booking earlier for 16 pax and the table given was enough to fit 10 pax only. Owner said they made a mistake with their own internal staff due to some miscommunication.

after ordering, food order was served wrongly from another table and some of our order didnt arrive. Although the food came fast, most of the order that came from the kitchen is wrong and we ended up have to do the cross checking instead of the staff themselves.

We tried to cancel some orders because some of our orders did not arrive and we have waited 2 hours for the dish (from 6.30 pm, we sat till 8.30pm). The restaurant refuse to cancel the order and claimed that the dish is still ' on its way' . So we waited for another 10 minits and checked with the staff again and the staff realised our order is not cooked yet. AND STILL REFUSE TO ALLOW CUSTOMER FOR REFUND AND INSIST CUSTOMER TO WAIT.

2 HOURS FOR ONE VEGETABLE DISH WHICH ONLY COST LESS THAN RM10. AND THE RESTAURANT WAS...

Yilo used to one of my favorite restaurant which I think their food is good. However, the latest visit made me way too much disappointed. I’m not sure why the food quality standard dropped is because of change of chef or what other reason behind. Visited on 18/4/21. I ordered the Thai style stir fried glass noodle. This is first time I felt the food is so gross. The Thai style stir fried glass noodle is using the Thai chili sauce & just mix with the glass noodle, topped with some lettuce, squid , prawn & onion. You can feel the Thai sauce is cool still when they serve the dish. The Thai sauce probably putting too long in the fridge & not in good condition. I smell very weird taste when I have it. I felt disgusting with the smell on top with the glass noodle. I didn’t finish the glass noodle at last. The worst dish I ever had. 2 stars is given because my past experience with Yilo was good but this time making me hesitate to go...

This is a restaurant located in Taman Sea area of Petaling Jaya.

The restaurant has a nice setup. This establishment also serves alcohol. The setup is simple and cosy. A nice place to have a drink or a meal.

The food menu is reasonably wide. Ala carte orders or set meals are available. The set meals are good. Enjoyed their Huo Bao Pork Rice set meal.

There is a bar in the restaurant. Both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages are available. A wide selections of drinks are available.

Service is fast, good and professional.

Cleanliness is good.

Prices are reasonable. Cash, e-wallets and credit cards are accepted.

There is a clean and well maintained public washroom available in the restaurant.

Parkings are roadside parkings. During peak hours, getting a parking lot may be a challenge. Patience is needed.
