Starbucks T2 Tawau — Restaurant in Sabah

The 5 stars is mainly for the wonderful atmosphere that's uncommon for Tawau, it's like being in a very nice hotel lobby. The tables are quite spread out if you need more privacy.

The toilets seem to be out and under maintenance.

Both the Grande (16oz) Asian Dolce Latte and Grande Cafe Latte felt like it had 3 shots of espresso (quite strong) rather than the usual 2 shots. Not sure what's going on, but if you have caffeine jitters (feel anxiety and heart palpitations) then be careful... I don't get this over-caffeination at KK/Sandakan Starbucks.

Doesn't seem like they offer smaller cup sizes (Short 8oz or Tall 12oz) that only has 1 espresso shot.

Food seems to be aaight', the big square donuts are affordable...

I recently visited the one and only Starbucks in Tawau and was impressed with the nice and clean environment. The atmosphere was perfect for getting some refreshment, and I enjoyed my Green tea latte, karipap and tuxedo cake, which were as delicious as always. What made the experience even better was that I went during iftar, so there were very few people and the place was almost empty.

Overall, I highly recommend this Starbucks location for anyone looking for a great coffee shop experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the environment was peaceful and relaxing. Food was okay, but for the service, perhaps could add more staff to do the housekeeping, as some people will just leave their trash on the table.

Apart from that, the atmosphere can be improve more, the MUSIC IS TOO LOUD. Their own staff calling customer also cannot hear.

People come to Starbucks to chill and chatting, and due to the LOUD MUSIC, people talking to each other as if they are shouting to each other. Perhaps the sound of the music...
