Overall food and atmosphere was great. However, waitress attitude needs to be improved. Was told that tea cannot be refilled so we asked the waitress if can add hot water instead. She said sure and took the teapot away but when it came back the teapot was still empty. When we asked another person they said green tea isnt refillable and if you wanted more drinks you'll have to order. point here is if it cannot be done please just tell in a straightforward manner as it is more acceptable than "putting up an act".

One thing that makes it fun is the claw machine where you receive tokens after paying to be able to use. Fun experience.

Key points: Tea is not refillable. Food is good and service is quick despite the little issue. Great place to come.

Compared to previous Wojamama? Price a bit on the higher side. Presentation on the higher end. More creative menu items. Taste also improved as compared to Wojamama.

Tried the Sashimi, Mango Maguro, and Mabo Katsu Rice.

The sashimi? Super fresh—probably one of the best in all of Kota Kinabalu’s market. If you’re a fan of fresh wasabi, make sure to use the one that comes with your plate, not the pre-filled version on the table (trust me on this).

The other dishes? Packed with flavor and made with quality ingredients. You can really taste the difference.

Downside? After upgrading from Wagamama, the prices also got an “upgrade.” It’s now more of a high-end Japanese dining experience—which I actually like! If you’re after something budget-friendly, there are always places like Sushi King.

One small letdown: the green tea isn’t refillable. For a restaurant at this price point, they could improve the experience by offering free refills and maybe even warm towels. Small touches, but they go a long way.

Overall, great food, fresh ingredients, just wish the premium price came with...

We order salmon shogun roll since it's chef recommendation from the menu, and my first bite was ..... oh my gd .. burst of saltiness 😵 really salty oh i was shock. Overwhelmed with saltiness, it's like i just ate a salt. my sister try it, and yes it is salty. We thought the middle crispy is the salty one but no, it's the top of the salmon rolls the one i circle red in the picture, the sauce and the salmon roe? Salty. Yes we know the salmon roe is salty, but this was to much. So we removed the top cream sauce from the sushi rolls, eat it and its delicious. Other than that, all good delicious. Drinks also good 👍🏻 .
