There's 2 ways to order this. The soupy version where everything is in it or the semi deconstructed version where you get the dry mee individually and the soup separated in another bowl.

I suggest you get the deconstructed version where you can get 2 distinct different taste for the price of one. The dry noodles are tasty, delicious salty oily gravy and smells great. It looks plain but looks can be deceiving. Good enough to be eaten alone to be honest.

The soup is yummy. Comes freshly cooked (that's why there's a little wait but worth it) and steaming hot. Contains the famous pork slices, liver, intestine, meatball with self extra ordered kidney. That there's absolutely no offal smell is testament to the incredible preparation done to it before cooked and served to you.

The tender pork slices are incredible and that itself is reason to try this dish. Tender, soft and fresh, the meat near literally melts in your mouth with minimal chewing needed. Superb and worth the recommendation to come here.

In short, try not to miss this if you are...

Excellent quality of food with mixed porks and innards tasted fresh and properly cleaned without bad smell and it is with good texture. Clean shop, friendly, approachable and attentive staff. The additional Deep Fried Wanton was crispy and tasty. The noodle with homemade black sauce mixed with crunchy and flavorful lards mixed with the minced pork was perfect match. The broth for the mixed pork soup was so flavorful. Homemade chili sauce goes very well with the dishes. Also, the “Special Milk Tea with Gula Melaka” is a must try too. Really love the food here and anyone visiting to Kota Kinabalu should try this shop. Be there early and expect crowds since this is a super popular shop even appear numerously on popular gourmet TV show in...

Sinsuran Sang Nyuk Mee delivers that nostalgic comfort you can’t quite explain — it may not be the most extraordinary bowl out there, but it hits the spot in a familiar, satisfying way. The pork slices are impressively soft and tender, soaking up the subtle yet hearty broth beautifully.

The dark soy noodles are straightforward and flavorful, pairing well with the soup for a balanced bite. It's one of those meals you occasionally crave not because it's the best, but because it reminds you of home or simpler times.

A comforting go-to when you just want something that feels familiar...

The sang Nyuk mee here used to be better, my most recent visit was greeted with abit of disappointment, the homemade chilli was let down and the portion getting smaller. Nonetheless, the soup based and the meat still cooked to quality standard.
