This is a serve no pork restaurant. A good place to hang out with your friends who drink beers and liquors but still thinking about those who eat Halal food. Their menu have wide varieties of western and fusions of local but their specialties are in western cuisine. Indulge in whatever that you choose in the menu. Be precise when you order or you won't get what you imagined because the chefs are professional and only do as per requested. The environment of the restaurant is always clean and maintained. The floor is clean, toilets are clean, ceiling, door, lamps and everywhere you look are clean. Interior designed as a pub but you won't be seeing those drunkard in here. Can only say the food is 5 star. The wait is not long. When you are seated, take your time to choose what is in the menu & how you want it. The waiters/waitresess are very attentives. They scourge the floor for hungry and attention seeker clients. Any complaint just tell them directly & they will act to it. The chefs are professionals. If you have a big group coming here, the chefs themselves will come to ask for your feedbacks & thoughts on the quality of their presentations as soon as the last plate served. Highly reccomend this place if you are in bintulu. For Halal friends do not hesitate as many Muslim frequent this restaurant. They take pride in serving no pork but still one of the best western restaurant in Bintulu. Mind you they have those prime beef if you know...

I used to frequent Brew73 whenever I'm in Bintulu, huge fan. Recommended to anyone who are in Bintulu. Unfortunately, after last night's dining (Mon, 11/11/24), it will be my last. New menu (but fortunately some classic favorites are still retained, e.g. Terminator burger, lazy man's chicken) with more asian food on offer. However, popcorn chicken, 1 of my favourite, is now ridiculously priced at RM17.90. Portion size reduced to small bowl.

Grilled Salmon, as written in menu, comes with coleslaw AND buttered corn. My colleague requested whether buttered corn can be replaces with mashes potatoes, to which the waitress politely said yes. But the dish was then served with a (big) mashed potatoes without coleslaw. Salmon size has shrunk as well. When we enquired, no one seems to be able to explain what happened. A waiter came to say this dish comes with ONE side dish only (this is not right). After a few more discussions among the waiting staff, the waitress came & explained that kitchen may have gotten confused and asked if we still wanted the coleslaw with RM2.50. This is not a matter of whether we want coleslaw or not. But more on how your staff handle a wrong order. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the grilled salmon dish.

Overall, with the expensive price tag and untrained staff, sadly, Brew73 has deteriorated instead of maintaining or improving. Not worth the price and not...

Food is okay , but I’m really not satisfied with the service,me n my friends reached their place at 7 pm , then all of our foods already reached the table , albeit late we understand that there were many people but my friend spaghetti is the only thing left which is not served yet so we patiently waited until 8 pm ! Which is an hour after that , then we called and asked one of the waitress and tell them To check on our order , and also my other friend rq for 1 glass of cold water , just cold water okayy that took another 40 minutes to reach us !! Even when we got our water the spagetti still not in sight , so i called the waiter this time and complained to him at 8.30’pm (1 n half hour after ) that my friend still didn’t get her food , he apologised and came back after 15 Mins and admit that they did missed my friend order that it was in the bill already but the chef missed it out amidst others order . And now only they are preparing it ( at 9 pm ) so imagine waiting for 2 hours for 1 dish ?!!! I understand if they missed it but what were they doing the first time that we asked politely (at 8 pm) ??? We thought at least that time they realised n preparing the food already but noooooo . So yeah probably not coming back again for this...

Brew 73 comes as an in-between eatery and pub that's seemingly suitable for families when the sun is up and night revellers once it goes down. It generally delivers on food and price making it a pleasant surprise for travelleres in town looking for good Western food. It seats about 80 people comfortably at any one time with its setup mainly tables and chairs with a few cubicles in a separate section. There is also limited outdoor seating, meant for the night patrons that come over for a pint. Being in the small oil and gas town of Bintulu, Brew 73 pleasantly surprises with its menu, offering a good range of dishes including pastas, gourment burgers, meats among others. This is on top of its coffee and beer selection as well. Prices are generally affordable for the kind of food they serve. For some dishes, they put out aesthatically pleasing presentaton as well that is uncommon in these parts. As a result, it has become a favourite place for both Western expatriates and locals looking for a beer or a meal. With its pub-like nature, it isn't going to get the title of 'friendly-neighbourhood-cafe', which it probably doesn't aim to be to begin with; but families won't mind heading there for a weekend lunch.

I'd like to think that this place is slightly overrated. I ordered a beef supreme pizza with extra cheese (which the menu said comes with a lot of meat) but I was disappointed to find a slightly warm pizza with chewy crust instead of a fluffy nature. And no significant of cheese on it, contrary to my order. And the meat were just sausages. To make it more dismal, it was not even sausages from the premium household brands (which obviously tastes better than regular sausages - - and this is important because when people come to a place such as this, they are expecting to be pleased, gastronomically speaking). I tried to be positive about its bottomless iced lemon tea too, but, I failed. Miserably. Frankly, it's just Seasons' Iced Lemon Tea reduced to a much more bland tasting tea with addition of water, I presume. Nevertheless, my lunch partner ordered a lasagna in bowl or something because she can't eat heavy meal (and that's because of her braces, she said, and this is totally unrelated to the review) but it was okay. Barely. The lasagna was warm too. I'm sorry but I just cannot tolerate paid warm food with just an "okay-tasting" taste.
