It's a normal generic mamak restaurant serving generic average-below food quality for an above average price. If you want to just hangout with friends while munching on roti canai, well okay but even that I've tasted better roti at same price range. If you wanna go eat mixed rice for lunch, better go for other local shops as they have for varieties, better tasting, far cheaper price. You can get mixed rice (per plate and whatever condiments you want at whatever quantity) with free drinks for only MYR6.50 at Kuali Emak, over here, half a rice, 1 piece of chicken drumstick, 1 hardboiled egg with gravies, MYR7, drinks cost separately. My only qualm was the tosai dough wasn't fermented enough. I like sourness in Tosai.
The only item I'd warn you about is the Rojak (Pasembor). The sauce is weak & is only sweet. If you've had good Pasembor in Penang. What you get here will lack depth. I'm still looking for good Pasembor in Kuching. Let me know if...
