Pak Amit Cafe Jalan Kulas — Restaurant in Sarawak

Swung by Pak Amit Cafe for a late-night dinner because my cravings for Laksa and Mee Kolok were getting serious.

Honestly, despite all the noise about other places, I still think Pak Amit serves the best laksa in Kuching. No fancy gimmicks, just good, solid laksa that hits all the right notes.

Ambiance? It is alright lah. Nothing to shout about, but hey, it is a regular cafe with decent prices.

I parked myself in the air-conditioned room since it was not too crowded tonight. Gotta stay chill while indulging.

Ended up demolishing 6 sticks of chicken satay, a bowl of kolok mee, and two bowls of laksa. Yes, you read that right....two. No regrets.

What a night.....

Customer service very slow. Nak order perlu berpanggil, nak x nak je nak layan. Owner of the shop not friendly at all. Not recommended to go, much more better restaurant if you plan to eat outside with good order and customer service. Owner really biased in serving the food, serve customers who she feels okay to her, without considering customer who came first. Please lah IMPROVE...

Bad experience first time here where we waited for about half an hour for our food which they admitted they have overlooked our orders, while the others who came after us have finished theirs. It just so happened that the lady next to our table who came earlier than us also have not had her orders delivered, they have also overlooked her orders. What a blunder...
