Located near Borneo Cultures Museum and accessible from there. Quite as less people visiting this place. Free entry. Very informative. Clean and tidy. Rooms mostly air-conditioned. Quite suitable for students and family with children. Not so convenience for wheelchair users. No nearby visitor parking spaces available.

Interesting facts and artifacts about Islamic development not only specifically to Sarawak but around the world. Free admission, just a walking distance few metres away from Borneo Cultures Museum.

It seems most displays are orientated to practioners of Islam, with very surface level information for all readers.

I would like if there has been more thought put into explaining to those unfamiliar with Islamic history of the artifacts and have more written on the layout of the building as one gallery does clash with the following without much thought beyond the artistic value.

In addition, more citations of the Qur'an and hadith accounts would serve to contextualize things to a greater degree.

Overall, the staff was lovely and the art was wonderful, but there seems to be a disconnect between those displays and galleries that written...

I really like this place it’s not too much visitors around and very quiet If you want to know some history and culture about Islam Spending several hours there is worthy Some artifact are also nice It’s hard to imagine how they could make these amazing things only with traditional skills As a Asian without muslim friend like me, here is the beginning of knowing Muslim culture I really recommend you visit here to start the...

Some interesting and important Malay-Muslim information and artefacts are displayed here across topics like weaponry and astrology, but the exhibition definitely needs a facelift - in some galleries the lights and a/c were not working (perhaps because there were no other visitors on a Monday afternoon?) and a lot of texts were yellowing very badly....
