The restaurant is clean, has a beautiful ambiance with a little background music.

Before we go to food section I would like to bring up their price. This restaurant is a bit pricey, I’m looking for good food with good price or something that I willing to pay for good food even if it’s pricey but for this restaurant I don’t think so.

Next, the food. It was good just that it isn’t as great as I think with the hype that I heard from other people. Plus if you look at the pictures I have 2 salmon skin there to which is a small potion(for me) this I can’t enjoy them that much. Would I come back, I don’t think so as I now know which places is better for Japanese Food in Kuching.

I would recommend, places such as; Izakaya Japanese Restaurant. ✔️ Their price is suitable for their fast, efficient, polite and professional service. ✔️ The food is worth every penny. ✔️ Their salmon skin is so worth it. ✔️ Their meat comes from halal suppliers. ❗️ Price, do check on their official page to know their price before you go.

Minoru Japanese Restaurant. ✔️ The food is worth every penny. ✔️ Their Katsu Karei Rice is highly recommended! ✔️ High quality fresh fish. ✔️ They make their sushi on the stop upon request. ✔️ Environment and service is superb. ❌ The restaurant is non halal but they don’t sell pork. ❗️ Price, do check on their official page to know their price before you go.

I don't always leave review but when I do, it's either the best place to go or the worst place anyone could' ve been to. This was my first visit and could be my last visit as well.

The waiter took our order after we seated. After 10 mins, the same guy came back asking if we had place order. It seems that he had stupidly misplaced our order and asked us to reorder. In normal circumstance, an apology is in order. Nope, not in this case. Not at all and he doesn't seem sorry. We waved at the waiter to check on our food as it had been to long. He nodded his head and never came back again. Any coffee shop attendant could have a better attitude than this. You should go back for training before serving people. We were sitting for more than an hour, starving. A couple of dishes were never served to us even though we had told the waiter TWICE. It was 8 something and I understood the restaurant was in the midst of peak period. I managed to observe the store manager, sitting with friends/family chitchat while having late dinner. I don't mean to sound harsh but if you see your store was full of people, you should have taken dinner earlier or later, or better yet order someone to take charge so you can be away of duty. All I can say is POOR management.

Bad attitude attendant, food never came, poor service, poor management, decent food. Yes, I believe you deserve one star and...

The food are still amazing but the service however is so disappointing. The table and sit are sticky and are not properly cleaned after the previous customer, I even found rice on the sit.

The one who took and served our orders was impolite. When ordering deserts we wanted to order the ice cream mochi but she only shook her head lightly without saying anything or looking at any of us. She could’ve just said it wasn’t available. So we decided to go for another desert dish, which she said she’s not sure weather it’s available or not but still didn’t inform us even after we finished our meal, which in my opinion is very unprofessional since we customers are paying for it. After finishing our meal, we asked for our desert to be served. Bare in mind that we asked the same person. We waited for 40 minutes and she didn’t served it until we asked for the second time which took less than 5 minutes. She served it to us without apologizing or saying anything.

This place was amazing when it first opened, honestly the management should really train the workers properly. A lot of people including me loves this place but has experience this kind of treatment which made us stray away from it. Hope you guys will do...
