This restaurant's first visit put me off returning! First, the environment of restaurant was excellent; it looked truly opulent and luxurious. However, I couldn't give the service more than a single star. Upon entering, there were no waiters in sight. We thought they maybe busy or taking something, so we waited at the counter. When the waitress arrived, there was no welcome or smile. Perhaps she was busy, she simply asked if we had a reservation and, after taking our names, seated us at our designated table. This incident irritated my partner. Because it was my birthday surprise, he had already told the other waiter, when he brought the cake at noon, to seat us for two first. Because we had other friends over for a surprise, my partner wanted to waited until everyone arrived before moving us to another long table. The waiter agreed, but the waitress took us directly to the long table. My boyfriend's surprise was ruined. When my boyfriend asked the male waiter, he said they'd already informed the waitress. I don't know how they communicated, but I do know that no waiter came to apologize or explain. While we were waiting for our friends, there was no table water service. This is truly unprofessional service for such a nice restaurant. The waitress seemed incredibly impatient during the order process. She came over before we were even ready and acted impatient. Was it our fault? At our table got a few extra cutlery, she direct taken it before asking if we wanted to keep it. Even asking after already reached out to take it, is it useful? Shouldn't she have asked first? Was she in a rush? And when the food came, I didn't understand. It seemed like she was just too lazy to move, or was there something else going on? Instead of going to the table to get the food and serve it, she asked the customer to bring it to her. How lazy is that? She's standing in the same place in such a large space. I first time so the bad customer service like this. This restaurant might have very few servers, as I only saw two serving. Their service was incredibly unprofessional. They didn't smile at all and seemed like they were in a rush. I don't understand and won't be back. It was a truly terrible...

I visited this unique restaurant after I watched an interesting video clip and came to know that our beloved TYT often came here for dinner. I had always been misled by the signboard "TAI TAI", that it was a Thai restaurant! As a matter of fact, the restaurant started operations on 23 December 2020,in the midst of COVID 19! The owner Ms Michelle, is a master chef with excellent cooking skills and Australian descent. Under her management, this unique restaurant has a colourful and exquisite fusion menu. Each of them is a must-try delicacy. Even our familiar delicacies such as Ngo Hiang chicken rolls and Fried Oysters have been listed in Michelle's menu. For our first visit, with the help of the warm and friendly service crews,we ordered the following: ❤️Cream Of Wild Mushroom Soup ❤️Roasted Boneless Lamb Loin ❤️Surf And Turf Mix Platter ❤️Pan Seared Cod Fish ❤️Smoke Duck Carbonara ❤️Angel Hair Prawn Aglio Olio ❤️Tiramisu (special cake) ❤️Tai Tai Crème Brûlée

Due to our high expectations for this restaurant, we tasted every dish very carefully. Well…we all simultaneously showed a thumbs up and contended smiles on our faces! All the dishes were perfectly prepared, beautifully presented and satisfyingly enjoyed! I would sincerely recommend this amazing restaurant to all my food loving friends here. Name: "TAI TAI" Location: Diagonally opposite Chonglin Commercial Centre at Jalan Tabuan, Kuching. Business hours: 3pm till...

It was a date nite for my girlfriend and I however it ended up in a tragic experience as first off the waitress was not well educated about what is served in the restaurant. At first we were told there was a bar tender in house and when we asked for a cocktail menu then she said that they don’t have any alcoholic beverages besides beer. When I ordered Tiger the local beer in Malaysia it did not taste like tiger at all. The drink was poured by the waitress which you can see was very inexperienced from the way it was being poured added by the non genuineness of the beverage. We ordered seafood alio olio and when it arrived the seafood especially the shrimp looked old. As we were digging into the dish we tried the mussels which were really rotten. The shrimp had such a bad smell that we ended up not even trying it. When we brought up the issue to the waitress, she said that our taste to seafood was superior. Really, good customer service would just accept their mistakes and correct the problem instead of blaming the customers taste buds. It was very misfortune especially when we were told that the owner was the chef and did not come out to correct the issue or apologize on the issue. It ended up a very unpleasant night out for us for coming to a very unprofessional ran restaurant here in Kuching and we will...
