The Container @ Simpang Tiga, Kuching — Restaurant in Sarawak

My first time dining here was for heavy lunch for 2pax in November 2019. My recent dine-in here was dinner for 4 on the 8th of March 2020.

Great Pizzas, best Cheeseballs (I've tried a lot of cheeseballs from various cafes and restaurants, and they ALWAYS barely have any cheese in them), scrumptious starters, my dad loved his Mac'n Cheese Burger, Fish & Chips were good, nice Baked Cheese Rice and the Grilled Lamb Chop is absolutely delicious. Even their accompaniment sauces are tasty. Salad choices are nice. Drinks are alright. Food have big portions and taste absolutely incredible, definitely worth the price.

Lovely ambience, given choices for indoors or outdoors which are accomodating for customers, clean premises.

And an appreciation shoutout to the serving crew member that served us tremendously on our recent dine-in, CHRISTINE, you have been very helpful and informative on recommending the menu and assisting with our needs with care, thank you very much for your hospitality and 5-star service. Thank you to the chefs as well for providing good food.

used to come here due to the food being great.. had an issue with the place about a week ago. wanted to come in for dinner, didnt make any reservations ahead thinking the place has a table. the front counter staffs claimed it was full while we saw a few tables laying empty around.. we saw few customers went down to pay as well. they insisted they are full and couldnt take us in. then one staff kindly offered a table upstairs bcos one of the families went down to pay. we went back in. suddenly another group came in after us, insisted on taking our table bcos they have reserved a table but the staffs didnt put up any reservation for them (must have forgotten). i was already disappointed with the initial treatment therefore offered the other guests our table and went to some other place. never coming here again. staffs were ridiculously rude no...

A neat place with an option to sit in open air or inside for a cooler environment. The food tastes good, such as the cheese baked rice, which I highly recommend. Theres also a variety of beer to choose from should you wish to have a couple of drink. The place have a good ambient lighting at night which could invoke a romantic feeling. The staff are friendly, too.

Would recommend if you want to bring your date here, or simply want to have good food with a few cans of beer and chill. The downside of this Cafè is its price is a little bit on the higher side. Expect to spend RM...
