HOTIN INN — Hotel in Borneo

The poorest: Staff negligence on customer reservation. Booked thru walk in on 25June2024 around 430pm. Seeking for premium king and was informed available. Repeated saying to one of the lady staff I need it from 28june (Fri) until 1 July(Mon) and she kept mentioning the wrong day, (Mon) to (Wed) and I have to correct her 3 times. Lastly she gave me a piece of paper to write down my details, phone no. , name and again the reservation date. before leaving I reconfirm again she will do the reservation and if I can pay, she mentioned booking will be done and payment is on the check in date.

Until today 28June while checking in, supposed to be a special day for me and so it was ruined by her, saying I did not do the reservation and none of my details were found. Not even mentioning if there are any recovery options for me until I have to personally ask what is available for today. The room required was occupied.

Not sure if this experience had been encountered before by any travellers but it definitely pissed me off when they were denying I did not make any reservation, made my effort pointless. My bad day probably.

not recommend for this room. maybe most people think inn just for amput only so service pun suka suka saja. but some cust stay inn not bc of amput ya. some really need keselesaan. ac is NOT COLD at all only if u stand under the ac then if you go to another place， the aircond doesn't feel. its not worth for the price tho. depo+ one night rm238. i dont really care about the price IF THE SERVICE is nice. why i stay here because this place is very close to my meeting place. u guys better looking fr home stay（seladah stay） here is very cheap and clean and super nice service the owner also very friendly he can solve every cust problem. only rm75/night master room only rm85 and the ac super cold. i swear ill never come to this inn again😮‍💨masuk masuk pun muka service tu masam macam i pernah hutang sejuta dengan dia. btw im here not for being rude or judged ppl ya I’ll respect if ppl respect me too. Although the room I chose isn't big but it feels spacious. Very tidy and clean, so comfy! The staffs here also very polite and friendly
