Nice environment. The interior design style of the restaurant is industrial style. They have various of food choices, for me the price is reasonable. Overall is ok ,BUT their service rate i think is super slow. I don’t know maybe their restaurant is still new or what. When I have lunch at there , it was raining although is a sprinkle of rain but the strong wind blow the rain and I can feel my back is wet because of the rain. And we ask their staff to put down the curtain down to keep out the rain. They said okok and didn’t take any action. Beside that, we ask their staff to give us chili , garlic and plastic box , first time they still say okok so we wait for a while but still nothing so we ask another worker to gave us the thing we need. And finally they give us . The problem is we need to repeat two times to get the thing we need. I don’t know why they are so busy. There is only less than 10 tables of customer while I’m dinning and they have 7 workers to serve customer and I saw the workers talking to each other but didn’t do the things we ask for. They provide a service call button to let customer ask for service , we click the button and their is no one coming to serve us. We try to call them to come but some of the workers just ignore us ( he is standing in front of us !) I hope they can see this review and improve their service rate and attitude. Lastly I like their closestool very much because it’s very clean. But I don’t understand why they put the toilet brush so near to...
Read moreThis place stands out like a sore thumb amidst this hallo fishing village which we have been visiting almost on a “regular” basis😂😂😂😂. Tasted every other restaurants here at bagan pasir, Tanjung Karang but always turned away from this “fancy” looking restaurant and probably always thinking of it as an expensive place. To our surprise it was affordable and the very reason I’m penning this down today is so that more crab lovers will venture here and enjoy this as much as I did. Here is the take away point to remember because no where else in KL or anywhere that we have been to, that you can actually order one crab and cook it in every flavor that you wish to try. We came as a pair today and we ordered two flavours and if there were four of us, we could easily order with no restriction to have each crab cook a different flavour. Did not cost an arm nor a leg. We had a great time and the ambiance was just amazing. …..Not as a fishing village but rather a cozy seaside restaurant!!! Kudos to Hai Shang Ren for creating this option for us. We will be back soon to try the other flavours but today our wet creamy butter crab and Tung Fan (vermicelli) Crab was incredible. The other must try dish was the deep fried french bean ( out of this world) and the butter n salt grilled squid. Am in...
Read moreLets cut short, this place is meant for tourist and visitor. Nice set up, good sea view and non stop sea breeze. Well, food ordered: Chicken in strawberry sauce 4 out of 5 Fried longevity noodle 4 out of 5 Omelette fried with oyster and seaweed 2 out of 5 Standard Kai lan stir fried garlic 3 out of 5 Lastly the Star of the day.. Steam white Snapper fish 1 out 5 Reason: as a considerably high end seafood restaurant in the area. Steam fish is a very simple dish and this is a big let down. The fish is overly steamed and the fish meat is hard and old ( in cantonese) than my grandma. The fishy smell is also highly unpleasant. Ok so u and i know what is happened hehehe.. So the fish is RM78 per kg and the fish we ordered is 1.2kg which is around RM90++ now is all back to the sea. 😊😊 We ate only the fish back of one side. Eventhough talked to the staff and boss we around, seems like they dont really bother to acknowledge the unfresh fish served. I would suggest not to waste any time if you plan to have a fresh seafood feast at this place. Upon settling the bill, the staff offered a free ice cream for a good review here....
