Nasi Lemak Ujang Corner — Restaurant in Selayang Municipal Council

Came at 8. And they werent open yet, but there already was a queue. (A long one at that).

But had our meal within 15mins of queueing in total (bcos there were people buying in bulk). The ayam goreng wasnt ready yet at sharp 8, but all other lauk ada.

For 3rm plain nasi lemak, The portion is definitely berbaloi, 2 heaps of rice, plenty of timun, good amount of egg. No kacang only.

The rice is aromatic n flavourful, nice and warm for a cold morning, and long grains as well. The lauk was heaped and piled on, so berbaloi for 4.50rm perlauk. We took paru, sotong, rendang ayam. We wud come back for paru, sotong and ayam goreng (havent tasted). The sambal isnt pedas. N the sotong is sweet. I liked it just fine.

U can order ur drinks from the same place. N there are a couple of kuehs prepacked at the time that we came.

By 845/850, the lines settled.

I bungkus-ed my nasilemak, because i cudnt finish it, But for rm1, i tambah half rice kosong. With sambal. Hehe.

Tucked in a food court, surprisingly the natural ventilation is not too bad, but surrounding environment is very run down with some stalls and tiny single story shops.

Nasi Lemak was fluffy with light coconut milk fragrance. Rice portion was big with nicely sliced cucumber (the watery middle parts of cucumber was removed, so when you take away the Nasi Lemak, it won't be gone bad so easily), the sambal was sweet and not spicy, easy for kid who can't take spicy sambal.

First time I saw the Begedil was round in shape. The paru berlada was soft and chewy. Overall not too bad. Price was reasonable. The stall has dual frontage offer an easy take...

Food - -nasi lemak structure fluffy but lack of creamy coconuty taste, also can taste the umami taste dekat nasi lemak , ? Aji/ cukup rasa- for me macam x berapa kena

sambal- does not really look like bright colored sambal, ikan bilis based, can be improved

ayam goreng - seasoned with salt and turmeric, however can also spot the umami taste from seasoning that i felt not suitable for simple ayam goreng

Environment - food court, cleanliness can be improved

Service is fast though

Overall, for me below average.. food taste can be improved.. feeling quite frustrated with the taste because of the good reviews on google/...
