I used to visit this outlet frequently a few years ago before I moved away, and now that I’ve returned, I’m really disappointed.
Given the service and staff behavior today, I won’t be recommending this place or coming back.
• Menu was displayed on an iPad fixed to a stand, making it difficult to browse and choose comfortably.
• There were fewer than five customers when we arrived, and most of them were nearly done eating.
• Despite having a clear view of the sushi chef from the open window preparing sushi to fill up the belt, we waited over 20-30 minutes and still didn’t receive our order.
• Finally a waiter passed our sushi order across the conveyor belt instead of serving it properly, highly unprofessional.
• The salmon sushi we received was not fresh at all. It felt like a complete waste of money. We’ve had better sushi from Aeon.
• The presentation was poor. We didn’t even feel like taking a photo.
• Asked a waiter about the “golden ball” sushi that we ordered and he just said “still preparing,” and no one bother to check if our full order had been served.
• A technician came and opened the ceiling air-cond unit directly above the sushi belt - something the management allowed, clearly showing no regard for hygiene. The cover was later left open and hanging, with no technician in sight til we left
• Several staff members were gathered at a table, with their feet up on chairs, playing games and busy scrolling phone.
• After almost an hour of waiting without receiving our complete order, we decided to leave.
We gave feedback to the cashier who mentioned the air-conditioning had been faulty for nearly a week, and the issue still hadn’t been resolved.
Overall, the service was poor, food quality below standard, and hygiene clearly neglected. For the same price range, Nippon Sushi is far superior in every aspect - food taste, cleanliness, and professionalism.
However, if you really need to satisfy your crave but too lazy to drive to other Sushi restaurant, please download the Sushi King apps to get 20% from 3pm-6pm on weekdays. At least tak sakit...
Read moreThis Sushi King is 1 of my fav place.. but not since they upgrade it from SushiKing Deli to Sushi King..
Pros: More Varieties of foods and baverages on the menu.
Cons: Price went up, the taxes is high. New staff not friendly and helpfull. So why charge service high if the service is not good? Self-ordering using tab, which for me quite time consuming esp for those who not used to it, no staff come to assist.. SOP is 'very strict' (ridiculous). 1 medium table only for 2 person regardless of their age.. so if the large table is full, and you have ur wife and a 2 y.o son, u have to sit at the seperate table.. ive went to other outlet, they dont do this..
Sorry, im very upset since i lost 1 of my fav place.. no more sushi king...
Read moreThe staff very sloww like too slow and not friendly at all. I ordered golden egg then after 30mins plus I asked one of the staff if its still cooking. Guess what she just go like that and check the ordered and do it. Like you didn’t check the order? I’m the only one customer inside that time. Thought Sogo was the bad one, nope this is one is the worst. She came send the food without even sorry. Then when I want to pay she just go clean my table first and just saw me standing infront the counter. Then continue cleaning. The food taste different from other outlet. Honey lemon tea? Tasteless. With no customer, you see the preparation? Plus chuka idako with salad? Even my golden egg crust too thick ya. Please train...
