Recently, I discovered Sudu & Knife while passing by Gombak. The name caught my attention - as it’s really catchy and I give A+ for whoever came up with it! 😍
Apparently, this restaurant serves Malay food during the morning hours and Western food at night. I visited for dinner.
So, what did we have? 🍔 Messy cheeseburger (homemade paddy dipped in black pepper sauce, cheddar, cheesy sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickles, chopped onion, mayonnaise, onion rings and fries) 🥩Barbarian platter (grilled chicken chop, lamb chop, bbq chicken wing, sausage, wedges, and garden salad)
As you can see, it’s lots of food! Definitely, great value for money! 😍
The food tasted nice. It’s a local version of Western food. The burger reminded me of fancier versions of burger Ramli, and it’s actually pretty big! The picture doesn’t do it justice. 😂
The barbarian platter was a bomb! So much meat will definitely fill up the most hungry ones. It says it’s for one person, but I’m sure it can be shared for two people. ✌🏼
Give it a shot when you’re in...
Read moreI have dined several times for dinner. During May 2022 they were the only restaurant I found that accepted large number (30+ people) for a reservation. It was really easy communicating with the staff (via WA) regarding the birthday lunch even though it was less than one week notice.
They reserved the whole inside area for us; Arranged long tables that can accommodate 28 attendees + side tables for the remaining attendees. My family is very happy with their food and generous hospitality. The portions were a lot and delicious! We requested for an extra table to put the gifts, but they awesomely gave us two. We asked for permission to sing happy birthday song, they even played the songs for us.
More plus points. The restaurant interior is nice for photos. Everyone left with a happy tummy. There is no issue with parking although large crowd coming at the same time + not hot at all even at 3PM.
Thank you so much for giving us a significant birthday celebration memory. Keep up the...
Read moreMe and my husband order the S&K Combo It comes with nasi lemak, aglio olio, chicken grilled, wings and drummet (however it was out, so the subs with chicken crispy), garlic bread and mushroom soup, coleslaw and 2 ice lemon tea
Portion - a lot for 2 people Taste: Nasi lemak - the rice has this nasi lemak fragrance and the taste is great! The sambal is not spicy. But it does compliment the nasi lemak well Aglio Olio - we ask for it to be spicy, well. It was indeed very spicy 🥵. It wasn’t the best but still good Chicken Grill - it was charred really good. The seasoning was season quite well Chicken Crispy - the batter was crispy. The taste was okay Garlic bread and mushroom soup - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! The bread was crispy but not hard. It was garlicky and well season! The soup was rich! And it taste really really grood! Coleslaw - typical coleslaw. It was okay Ice Lemon Tea - taste nice. Great refresher
