Staple breakfast and lunch place for 10 years plus. Owner started from a humble stall from a coffee shop nearby and ventured out to her current own shop. She has since retired from making the noodles and now makes the drinks in her new place.

The trademark dish served, is their curry wan tan noodles. Since it’s a thick and heavy meal, most of the time I just fo for their dry wan tan noodles with a lil curry sauce, but the star is their curry noodles.

Drinks are decent, and not the watered down stuff…

They do run out quite early, as by 3pm you have literally only drinks and what ever that’s left over.

They have a complimentary chicken rice shop which seems o have brisk sales too. You can get a serving of extra roasted meats if you like.

P/s: but the quality seems to have dropped since her sons took over the...

During my third visit to this kopitiam in the Sri Gombak area, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had revamped their menu, introducing a range of new dishes. This time, I decided to try their prawn noodle, and while the experience was generally positive, a few aspects stood out.

The portion size of the prawn noodle was satisfying, and I appreciated the generous amount of toppings they provided. However, I couldn't help but notice that the gravy was on the sweeter side, which took away from the expected balance of flavours. Additionally, I felt that the prawn essence was lacking in the dish, which slightly affected the overall enjoyment.

Despite these minor setbacks, the meal was still above average, and I commend Kopitiam for their efforts in...

Had the signature curry noodles - simply amazing! Ban mien also spectacular. Teh Tarik was foamy and perfect 😊 Second meal here: went for the “Big” size portion ban mien … and it’s absolutely MASSIVE!

I must also mention the roasted meat stall at the front; I had the lean meat chicken rice (with yellow ginger rice), and it was yummi-lucious. A testament of how good it is; we sat down for a 30min meal, and customers were just streaming in non-stop the entire time … and it was...

Nice place to have meal or breakfast during weekend market at Pasar Sri Gombak. There are varieties like curry mee and wan tan mee at this shop. But the food is average not the best and not too bad. The best is price is still reasonable with the amount of ingredients and uncle very friendly and try his best to make customers feel the best. Good effort thou. But the shop not too big and not spacious and a bit cramp if too crowded but just nice for a nice and quick bite.
