We've come here more than 10 times. The whole family loves the noodle soup! And the price is cheap for the big portion. Bonus is of course the unlimited drink refills 👍
The same cashier guy could improve his service though. Never with a smile. Always so reluctant to say anything, just shows anything on the menu or cuts out things in your order paper. I guess he can't really speak BM. But I mean, he has to learn a bit or just use english, most Malaysians know it! You're the symbol of the restaurant, the main image. So please be more friendly and welcoming.. There was this time he gave us all the noodles with chili paste in it so my kids can't eat it. So I asked him politely why did you put the chili? He said it's always like this. I looked at him in shock and said noooo, I've come here more than 10 times. There was never chili. And he just gave us the bowls anyway. 😔 5mins later he came back n took everything back n returned with new ones without chili. We're happy but it would be better if he apologized too.. The next time we came when ordering, I wrote on the paper, don't put in chili. And I told him nicely too, 3 times 😆. He looked annoyed but nodded. Just being careful 😬😬
The cleaners, bibiks and uncles are always so kind and friendly. Love that is has a prayer room too.
Besides the cashier guy that does his job, but could improve.. we're really satisfied with this place and will surely...

Mutton skewers and chicken wings. The best. 😋👏 definitely need to have this every single time. Unfortunately they already crossed out the chicken wings from their menu sadly, not sure whether temporary or forever 😭
Beef noodle soup. Where it taste soothing, homie home cook feeling and tasteless in a good way. There's nothing much and no complexity in the soup, but very comforting beef noodles soup. Its the perfect combination with the gammy taste from the mutton skewers.
Dry beef dumpling Same as the skewers definitely need to try this. Juicy, succulent, flavourful, tender mince beef that wrapped in boiled dumpling and deep in the chilli and vinegar sauce 😘👌🏼
Not so favourite dishes
Curry noodle soup I can't remember much, I ordered it on my first visit, and definitely nothing like Malaysian used to. Which is to be expected, not to be the same 😅
Curry beef rice This one is not foreign yet foreign at the same time, as the curry taste like a mild version of Taucu but with beef which is foreign to me because I only eat tauchu with fish 😅. Fortunately we still finished all the meals ordered and I remembered eating remaining rice with the mutton skewers which taste superb 😋👌🏼
No picture as I forgot to take one, will update on my...
Read moreIt’s beyond me how and why this place is only rated 4.1 stars! Came on a friday so next door Mr Mee is closed and I almost skipped this place due to the somewhat low ratings but eventually came back to this restaurant after surveying nearby eateries. And boy, I’m so glad we did!
We ordered the recommended braised beef noodle soup, mutton curry noodle & beef dumplings. The portions were huge and as tasty as to be expected from a decent chinese mee tarik shop and I’ve had more than my fair share of mee tarik shops. Price was cheap too under RM10 for each dish! So for under RM10 for a bowl of this beef noodle soup, other places serving similar noodle soup at the same price point simply paled in comparison. 18pcs of dumplings for just RM9.90 was definitely a steal! Nice balance of QQ chewiness & meat without the overtly dough-ey taste/texture usually served at most shops. Chilli oil could be spicier though but that’s just my personal preference.
Btw, drinks are free - both hot & cold beverages available including carbonated drinks with free refills. Another plus. Staffs were friendly enough too so yup, I’m one...
