The room fee can be paid either in cash or debit/credit card & must be paid during check-in. |Room: ★★★★☆ |I booked a Double Room type, no window. It placed 1 queen bed size. The interior decoration looks attractive Mediterranean style. However, this room does not provide a wardrobe (only 2 clothes hangers). There are only rack cabinets & flat TVs with limited broadcasts. no mini fridge & safety box. Electric kettle, coffee, tea & sugar were provided along with roll tissue. The bathroom is very nice & clean. 2 bath towels & 1 small towel provided. The water heater works well. Bathroom toiletries include only one bottle of 2-in-1 shampoo. |Amenities: ★★★★★ The hotel will give visitors a parking access card. Visitors are required to park in the basement & the reserved parking box. The safety features in the parking area are satisfactory. Security guards are often seen patrolling. From the basement parking lift you can go directly to the hotel room level. The hotel's WiFi is provided with 27.78Mbps. The atmosphere of the lobby is very pleasant with a Mediterranean-style concept. At one corner of this lobby, there are selling of dry food items & also dishes that I guess are imported from China. Chinese pottery decorations & a book of interpretation of the Quran in Chinese are also on display. Very nice. |Food & beverage: ★★★★★ |Breakfast is not provided in the package. However, the hotel gave free breakfast vouchers at the Muslim Chinese restaurant next to the hotel. It's just that the menu options are limited. I ordered Mi Tarik Soup and fried Dumplings. Stayed one night at Hotel Hilal during the Cybercity Half Marathon 2025. Overall, we had a good experience, although there is room for improvement.

Pros: Strategic location on Persiaran Flora – close to D’Pulze Mall with nearby food options including Chinese-Muslim, Arabic, and Pakistani cuisine. Free basement parking is available. The staff was helpful and friendly. Spacious room with unique Moroccan-style mosaic tile design. Ample space for storing personal items. Free breakfast is provided at the restaurant next door. Hair dryer is available upon request at the reception (no deposit required).

Cons: Air conditioning issue: The AC was not working and leaking water, at night. We were sweating and informed the receptionist around 1 AM. He immediately sent a technician and offered a room change, though unfortunately, the AC in the alternative room also wasn’t functioning. We decided to stay in the same room and were given a table fan and a standing fan, which were extremely helpful. The staff allowed us a one-hour late checkout the next day without a surcharge, which we appreciated. Bathroom flooding: The toilet floor was poorly designed, with the centre area slightly elevated above the drainage point. This caused water to pool during showers, creating an unpleasant experience even with wearing indoor slippers in the toilet. Mould in the bathroom: There was visible mould on the toilet wall and floor, though somewhat camouflaged by the mosaic tile pattern, it was still noticeable. Towels provided were slightly worn, though they appeared clean.

Overall rating: 3 to 4 stars.
