The lamb Mandi is amazing and the choice of breads used to be good before. Update: Went yesterday (Friday 05/08) and had the worst food experience ever. The food is cold / bland and has become much worse than Sabaa restaurant (their competition). It was not crowded for a Friday afternoon and that may be explains that people have found the food to be bad which was once used to be good. To the management: the use of QR scanner and online payment is utter rubbish, it may have solved your problem to reduce manpower but it's a hassle for customers as it takes a bit of time for the menu to load and the payment gateway takes forever even more. Not a ideal scene for people coming in hungry as you may loose your patience and appetite immediately with the hassle of long ordering process and pre-payment( the dumbest idea ever for a restaurant doing so well) at least increase the speed of your internet and free wifi so the customers can process the order and payment faster. Disappointing to eat your food which I used to enjoy so much previously Lamb mandi - both lamb and mandi not flavourful and not hot and the lamb was not succulent. Read moreAs you can see Saba Restaurant Cyberjaya is very near to MMU Cyberjaya. I called the branch for delivery, they asked me to download the app and so I did but this is what I get in the photo. So I called again, the person on the phone doesn't know how to deal with this kind of situation and ask another person to answer the call. So I explained the situation to the person on phone, she ask me to wait and let her check with the app, she left for like 10 seconds and I heard her talking to another guy and he said "kurang ajar". I don't know what that means, but 10secs later she came back (she checked the app real fast), and said :" sorry sir, you need to order delivery from the app". She not even looking for a solution for it but keep repeating same thing over and over again with impatience attitude. My hostel is only few km away from their restaurant, the app is not working, the restaurant don't let me order through phone when I'm only few km away. I also did a little test later on. I tried many other locations around Cyberjaya and even KL but none of the locations works. So I really doubt that the app is even working or is just temporary technical issue. What pissed me off is the worker or supervisor is not looking for a solution and keep asking me to use the app for delivery even when I told them the app is not working. Read moreWe visited Sabaa Restaurant in Cyberjaya today, looking forward to an authentic Arabic meal with the family, but honestly, it was quite disappointing. From the start, things felt off—we weren’t welcomed, and no cutlery was brought to the table, which seemed strange, but we let it go at first.
What really frustrated us was the wait. We sat there for about 40 minutes with nothing, while other families who came after us got their food within 15 minutes. It was hard not to feel like we were being ignored, especially since our food was ready and just sitting there. When we finally complained, the waiter brought it out but by then iit was cold and dry, and we only got cutlery after that.
The food itself was good, iit had the authentic flavors we were hoping for, but the service really overshadowed the experience. As the only Arab family in the restaurant, it felt like we were treated differently. We didn’t want to assume the worst, but the lack of attention from the waiters was pretty noticeable.
