DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!
The taste of this chu yuk fun is horrible, might as well go mamak and have maggi soup, your tastebud will thank you for that.
The soup looks plain but full of MSG. A few pieces of minced pork, meat, pork liver, size is as small as a 20 cents coin. Didn't even give me pork intestine and pork lard.
2 things that are not fully cooked -egg white that is still transparent, not white but transparent. egg yolk that is not even warmed. i dont even recall ordering "RAW" egg. -pork liver that has got blood on it, so raw i can still hear the pig screaming in pain.
-Kopi beng is as bitter as those chinese medicine. -Those chili looks like they have been in the soysauce jacuzzi for 10 years, i dont even know if thats green chili or black soysauce marinated chili. -big shoplot but couldnt afford tissue for their customer, bring it yourselves or buy it from them.
13 bucks with "RAW" egg added (by default), you are telling me this is the shop that has all the people coming to queue up for chu yok fun? I am impressed with your tastebud if you were even a...

Environment 6/10 -Simple, clean and open layout -Has industrial fan set up at the back of the shop to provide cooling environment. sat at the back side of shop has toilet smell but expected since is kopitiam style
Food 5/10 (noodle + kueh teoh soup) Broth first taste was salty, then subsequently its bearable but nothing to hype for meat is good, they marinated it innards were bad, the intestine taste bitter (not cleaned), liver is tasteless (overcooked) noodle so so egg in the broth handled nicely, not overcooked with some yolk flowed out good job on that temperature of the broth cool down when the industrial fan keep blowing on my food as I was sitting at the back of the shop, at the end my broth was cold and tasted terrible. Minus for people who like hot soup.
Service 5/10 -Slow services, waited half and hour. no tissue on table
Price 4/10 RM10 for normal bowl +egg + a cup of Chinese tea expensive
There are definitely better chu yuk fun...
Read moreActual stars is 4.5. The soup base is sweet and porkie flavourful with beautifully fried lard included however it should have been more in quantity. Ordered mee hoon mee and kuay teow mee and the quantity of the carbo is adequate, not too little like some other place. Asked for mix and the pork stuff loaded is quite well balanced. Liver, intestine, mince pork and lean pork in good quantity. Didn't really stinge on it. The egg given was heavenly!!! Really 2 things up. Only constructive comments for them is that the chili padi should be red and for those ordering Chinese tea ice, your charge of RM1 is really over the top. 50 cents would have been more appropriate. Your per bowl price of RM9 is fair for me but not for the Chinese tea ice. Final advice, please speed up your cooking time. A little on...
