Inside Scoop Setia Alam — Restaurant in Shah Alam

Came here to redeem the Inside Scoop 9th birthday voucher and was pleased with my experience.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating, he even came over to ask how everything was after we were done with the waffles.

As usual the Ice Cream flavors were amazing. We had the cempedak and dark chocolate butterscotch, both highly recommended! However, compared to other outlets, this one didn't have as many flavors as I would like.

The seating was limited, but comfortable. There were a number of tables, even a few that could seat more than 4 people each.

Good place to have desserts after meal. However, they do not have coffee here and only have a few options...

Their ice cream tastes really good and their service is good too. But I would like to suggest that please wear mask next time as I always see their saliva spitting when they are talking with customers. I think they should improve the hygiene. Besides, I think it is better to weigh the ice cream before serving to customers. This is because they hired a new staff recently, and he didn’t not weigh the ice cream before serving to customer. The amount of ice cream is decreasing although the portion looks big but he did not scoop the ice cream properly and hence it is actually less than what it supposed to be served. Dropped by Inside Scoop Setia Alam to try their new ice cream with mochi that usually comes with waffles, but sadly the waffles weren’t available that day. There were a few mochi ice cream flavours to choose from — Matcha Strawberry, Taro, and Onde-Onde. I went with two scoops: Matcha Strawberry and Onde-Onde.

Both flavours were nice and pretty much what I expected, though nothing too surprising. Personally, I’d rate them as average overall. For those who don’t like overly sweet desserts, I’d probably skip the Taro flavour as it’s a bit on the sweeter side compared...
