We found this night market on tik tok and read the reviews on Google. It seems quite positive and here we are to experience it ourselves. We drove around 30mins including missing turns and junctions from Subang Jaya to reach here.
It was truly a adventurous ride staring at the Google map and navigate the peak hour traffic in Kuala Lumpur. Am glad it all went well and we arrive safely at our destination.
The place was packed with cars but we still manage to find a lot. The night market was jam pack with crowds made up of mainly locals. It was a 2 lane long street filled with vendors selling all sort of locals food, items and vegetables.
We always like the vibes at the night market and trying our different local street foods. Back from where we came from this culture is dying off and everywhere we go are shopping malls with the repeated options.
We tried the Suan La Fen, Mee Hoon Kueh, fried carrot cake, fried yam cake and fried poh pian. These are not the best in term of taste or presentation, but these are the kinda home cooked food that feed and raise a family.
And this is the taste that we are going after. The taste of hardwork, to raise and sacrifices for a family. Come give your support and try it out yourself. I'm sure you will enjoy...

Sure it is (National Malaysian record) , with all kinds of unique delights: colorful food, drinks, pastries, seafood, vegetables, fruits, clothings, kitchen crockeries, playthings and so on. Best time visiting is about 6pm onwards as by then stalls are fully set up. Of course, parking lots will be fully occupied. Currently, you can find all prices for dry stuff lying low as low as RM 5 for adult T-shirts and short pants (not bundles), RM5-10 per 10pcs of local fruits and fresh vegetables offered in bundle sales. Food and drinks are of standard price, name it where you preferred, local Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thai and China? There were few unpopular scene and unpleasant experience that we like to share: 1) Quite a number of beggars (child to adult, handicapped to nons, multiracial) seen scattered along the pathways. 2) most familiar disgusting experience was when you passed by stinky tofu stall, you never forget the pungent smell but not the delicious taste, ha, ha. 3) The crowd pushing inspired pickpocketting. 4) Long waiting list from ordering at the stalls. However, the lively environment came from families those late workers enjoying eating and chit chatting at the stall makes up the precious moment of the day. Never miss the best flea night market in...
Read moreVisited Setia Alam Night Market in the late afternoon, and the place was already crowded even before it got dark. It’s one of the biggest night markets in Malaysia, and honestly a fun place to explore, especially if you’re into street food.
I tried the Milk Tea (Teh Ice) from the Chang Xiang Kopi stall, which is marked as one of their top sellers. I got the big size for RM6. It was creamy, not overly sweet, and had that classic strong tea flavor. They brew it traditionally using the sock filter, which gives it that thick and smooth taste. Definitely refreshing in the hot weather.
I also picked up a nasi lemak from one of the food stalls. The rice was nice, sambalnya spicy but still enjoyable, and the fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. Pretty generous portion and worth the price.
Then I had a bowl of noodle soup. The soup had a light savory broth, not too salty, and the noodles were soft but not soggy. It came with some simple toppings, and overall was comforting and tasty.
This night market is really long and filled with food options, from classic Malaysian dishes to snacks with Thai and Korean twists. There are also stalls selling clothes, accessories, and little trinkets.
If you enjoy street food and don’t mind walking a bit while hunting for good bites, this market is a great spot to visit. Just make sure to...
