Soon Kee Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Shah Alam

Went there around 2 something the order person keeps saying that need to order fast because kitchen people need to rest at 3pm. Menu don’t even given to us yet but rushing us to order. For the first time flipped the menu within 5 min. The order person attitude is rude and annoyed. The next table also about the same time ordered like us the staff already starring at both of the tables seems like asking us to eat faster. Food definitely is not impressive u can find other restaurants which can serve you better. If I paying that amount of money and all the staff seems like wanna halau u from their restaurant. Try to imagine u have this one hour lunch just want to enjoy the food and stepped in to this restaurant being treated this way. How...

This restaurant is quite often pack with people. In my 15 years staying in Setia Alam, I have only dined here

I've eaten here before and I do like the food. The wait would be too long if you don't make a reservation.

I tried making a reservation by calling in and they could not fully understand me. The person on the other hand stepped back from the phone and I could hear "Eh eh, boleh cakap inggeris tak?" in the distance. Then there was no reply for 5 seconds before they hung up the phone.

Okay, understood. I don't fully blame them. I can't speak Chinese and it's not their fault. I could speak Malay as well but I never got the chance to as they hung up.

Maybe it's just this one time and I didn't call back. I just hope they don't do that to every other non-speaking person...
