Nasi Kukus Boss @Setia Alam — Restaurant in Shah Alam

It is a sad day today for me. I shall bid my farewell to this place because in the beginning, it was enjoyable coming here. This used to be my go-to place when I am hungry and craving for something spicy, but now… everything has turned bitter. On the menu, it is written ‘free refill nasi dan sambal’ but VERY LIMITED unlike before. Furthermore, the manager named Alfa, who’s a tomboy, was very rude. She said if you want to refill multiple times, you can go to Ayam Gepuk Top Global when I compared Ayam Gepuk Boss with Top Global. At least train your staff to speak properly and not be rude to regular customers. She even scolded me about refills being for sets. So, what did I buy then? I’ve always bought sets. She even mentioned that it is not profitable if she provides a lot of refill. Sigh, this is so disappointing… I guess my ‘rezq’ is no longer here. I don’t think it will drive the owner to bankruptcy if they provide extra sambal to their customers or at least explain professionally to us.. not just bash us! Aghhh bad mood terus.

P/S: Saya tak minta pon 10 sudu sambal, 10 sudu kacang seperti Alfa beritahu. Cuma dia kata boleh refill SEKALI sahaja iaitu 3 sudu dengan nada yang sombong. No, saya bukan bungkus sambal.. saya makan disitu. Kalau ada tak habis, saya bungkus kerana selalunya kena tunggu dalam 15 minit utk mknn siap dan saya bekerja- tak sempat tunggu dan...

food: i love their ayam gepuk compared to the other restaurants, sedap and they're very generous with the portion; you get a quarter chicken and can refill both rice and sambal as much as you want. the set also comes with drinks!

service: friendly staff and they will try their best to assist you better

price: standard price for all type of nasi kukus, gepuk and geprek so can budget below rm15 per person

atmosphere: i love the concept they used; traditional and classic concept also i think it is quite chill place to eat there. just that last time i went there was raining so it's a bit uncomfortable but overall everything is fine

edit: i forgot to mention that last time when i eat there, some part of the chicken is not fully cooked. hopefully they can check that first bfr serving it...

food has been good all these while. love coming to this place. been a loyal customer. so far happy until today. ordered 3 packs, pineapple wasnt fresh (almost stinks). reported to the boss, i was glad the boss took the initiative to send 3 new packs for us.

this is the part whr i am most dissapointed. the 3 new packs sent to me was also from the same batch. staff feedbacked to the boss saying their batch of pineapple is still good. please contact me ASAP so i could arrange your staff eat these pineapple in front of me.

still reserving two stars for the boss initiative. these things happened, i dont mind. but the way its handled by the staff...
