Pun Chun Noodle House Kota Kemuning — Restaurant in Shah Alam

Well a perfectly nice name from Bidor, Perak. Almost all travellers knows PunChun A house whole name in Bidor.

Believed Kota Kemuning is their 2nd outlet Established years ago. The texture of Noodles are much better than the original Bidor. However the Sauce and flavours are far behind, causing it to be not so palatable.

Boss takes the orders and Staffs ( Myanmar’s ?) serves. Pretty fast and big portions. Prices are very affordable but the staffs needs to help the boss to bring back the confidence level.

Just look at the miserable Vegetables in the soup. Oh my oh my, they are very disappointing. Complained to the boss and was quickly whisked away and replace. But I won’t be taking it for whatever reasons When staffs were scolded by Boss.

Came back after a couple years the standard fell so low that I felt disgusted eating it. Ordered dried curry ribs wanton mee and a curry Mee, had to wait for 30mins on a chilled Sunday afternoon. The cashier is also the only person who takes order, and he's so blur that I had to repeat 3 times about the sizes of both bowls i wanted. Pandan barli was overcooked till so sticky. Utensils were so dirty that there were flies around it. The meats were also not fresh, either it's frozen or recook, and I had to get a bowl to pour out half bowl of kicap from my dried wanton mee. The dried curry texture also looks weird as if it's just been microwaved or something. I thought ara damansara outlet sucks, mana tau...

Ah.. the famous Bidor breakfast spot! Maybe it’s the staffs, Bidor tastes better. Just like to see old people preparing food. 👍🏼 At 12ish lunch time, place is not packed. Parking can be a hassle.

Dry noodles with duck drumstick - tasty! Soup 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 The noodles on the other hand can be hotter. RM11.50 @ 2022 affordable

Wantons - surprisingly good. Got prawns also. RM14.50

Charsiew- too sweet for my liking and too thinly sliced. RM7.50

Place is without AC but not too hot. Chinese boss but server and cook are all Burmese. Cleanliness is B, can be improved. Seatings spaced nicely, not cramped. Will try their curry next time. Liked their wantons. Price is affordable for the...
