Needed an affordable place to stay as I was attending a family friend's wedding nearby and did 8 nights. The standard of the hotel was commensurate to the price paid per night. Let's just say the hotel has seen better days and can use some touch ups. But since I barely stayed in the room and was always out and about, my stay was satisfactory.
SERVICE / CHECK-IN Overall, the staff were pleasant and did their best to attend to my needs. Room service is only done upon request. They take a 50 Ringgit refundable deposit when you check-in.
CLEANLINESS It is a 3-star hotel, so keep your expectations to the minimum. I did experience a slight hiccup upon check-in, as I found that my bed's sheet wasn't very clean. As I had arrived very late in the evening, the receptionists told me I had to wait till morning to have my sheets changed. But after I expressed extreme discomfort they managed to sort it out somehow and found someone to do it for me on the same night which was appreciated.
I stayed on the 3rd floor, and have a feeling their laundry area was there because there were always piles of towels lining one side of the corridor which is a little eye-sore.
WIFI Surprisingly wifi was super high-speed, I could connect to the internet easily with no major disruptions.
ROOM For the love of god, BRING EARPLUGS. The walls are VERY thin. The first night I heard the neighbours getting it on well into the night, but thank goodness for my ear plugs or else I would've had to endure some frisky sound effects I had no intention of listening to :') You can also hear the next room when they use their shower and if people are talking loudly.
The bed was comfy enough. I stayed away from using the kettle as the inside looked rusty with questionable stains.
No safe to store your valuables, and no small fridge in the room so take note.
Other little things I noticed was that there were tiny cobwebs on the ceiling, the table by the tv had broken bits here and there, the wall panelling behind the tv was peeling off, and some parts of the room could use a new coat of paint to cover the questionable stains. But again, you get what you pay for :)))
NEARBY AMENITIES - Walking distance to plenty of decent cafes and eateries! There's even a huge supermarket right by the hotel...

Read moreFrom Johor went to shah alam .Had stayed two nights over here. My brother in law the one booked for us. Family room with 2 units of queen size bed. The room is clean. The water pressure for rain shower were freaking high which I'm in love and the temperature too. The only matter I'm not satisfied is when I requested for another room card i was being turn down. As per the reception, only one card per room. I do explain that I'll be going out so I dont wana disturb my parents who most probably will be sleeping soundly to wake up and open the door for me. No courtesy or common sense. The only thing she said "Let us know and we will open the door for you". And the moment came when I ask to open the door and to my surprise she make s#$t face and mumbled I'm being troublesome. I told from earlier part I requested extra card so that I wont be troubling you or my parents and now you are screwing me up for your own fault. Anyway the rest was good except for...
