Overall food taste is good & environment is clean & comfortable but the experience was spoiled by the rude service provided by the Indian cashier (supervisor).
It is my fifth visit to this outlet & every time when I come if the Indian cashier (supervisor) was on duty it would be a bad & unpleasant experience due to his extreme rudeness & unfriendliness in treating customers. Service with no smile, hostile, rude tone, short tempered, unhelpful/unapproachable & bad attitude.
Untrained & super rude people like this should not be allowed to man the counters or lead the customer service area.
Hope the outlet can change the cashier or remove him from customer service if he fails to be trained or change.
Remember paying customers do not deserved to be treated rudely & should be treated with respect & politeness no matter how bad a day or how busy your staff can be.
Lastly, the prawn used in their dishes are at times no so fresh as on a few occasions in my visits the prawn meat was mushy, stenchy, disintegrates & falls apart as you put in your mouth even before you begin to chew. It would be good if the restaurant can take note of this & do a qualify check on their raw materials (esp. prawns) before they're served daily to ensure freshness & avoid risk of food poisoning to customers. I am not sure whether other customers has any experience on this but if you do, please do share your experience by living an honest comments & review here to create awareness.
The comments left here are with no bad intentions but for the purpose of helping restaurant to improve their service so that customers would have a better experience on their next visits & the business for this restaurant group would continue improve & grow...
Read moreSoi 55 is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a modern touch that still gives off a cozy street-food vibe. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to recommend dishes if you’re not sure what to try.
The food is the real highlight. The Pad Thai is perfectly balanced—sweet, tangy, and full of flavor—while the Green Curry has just the right level of spice without overpowering the coconut creaminess. Their Tom Yum soup is fragrant and spicy, ideal for anyone who enjoys bold flavors. Portions are generous, and the presentation is clean and appetizing.
Prices are reasonable for the quality, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special outings. Whether you’re a fan of Thai food or trying it for the first time, Soi 55 delivers a dining experience that feels both authentic and satisfying....
Read moreI had an absolutely delightful experience with the Thai dishes here. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced – not too sweet, not too oily – with that signature smoky “wok hei” aroma and a generous portion of fresh prawns and crunchy peanuts that made every bite satisfying. The Tom Yum soup was a standout: tangy, spicy, and fragrant with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves, striking the right balance between heat and sourness without overwhelming the palate. The Green Curry was rich, creamy, and aromatic, with tender chicken pieces and just the right kick of spice, complemented beautifully by the freshness of the vegetables.
Altogether, these dishes showcased authentic flavors, cooked with care and balance. A wonderful Thai food experience that left me wanting to come...
