Torii Teppanyaki • Setia City Mall — Restaurant in Shah Alam

It was my first time having lunch at this place. Good environment and I will said an excellent customer service.

When we ordered, we was told our order might be late due to the "something broke down". I can't really remember the exact words. He suggested to ordered other then ramen if we need it fast.

Luckily we are not in hurry. We can wait. But the order wasn't really late.

Anyway, I wasn't feeling well that time. Flu, sore throat, you named it. Of coure you want to eat something hot. The moment Spicy Jigoku Ramen (Chicken) got into my mouth, it feel like immediate relief. I wasn't though it will be that pedas. Normally Japanese food mana spicy kan. But seriously this pedas weh, but feel good at the same time.

My fried had Sukiyaki Ramen. She also said her one's tastes better then the other shop with tried before. I will definitely come again and try the same menu to prove the feels good that I had that day wasn't because my...

I don't get why this restaurant gets such high scoring. Food is so bad, and understaffed bad service. ONLY 2 high chairs so we didn't get to try it for months as it's always unavailable. Staff couldn't be bothered attitude.

We managed to score the elusive high chair one day but the fried soba was so unappetizing that my toddler rather go hungry. Also came with too much black pepper I thought we ordered the wrong food. Curry was too salty too. Our ordered came very late, even the food for the next table who added some orders had their food first. Staff couldn't be bothered too when asked. Reason given is the next table's food is easier to cook. Hmm...i thought it goes by sequence?? If most people order 'easier' to cook meals, then I'll have to wait forever? What a funny logic.

Edited to add: After posting this review, I can see why the restaurant have staffs with such bad service and attitude. Just look at the replies...

We ordered at 7.30pm. Took 25mins for my rice to arrive. 30mins for my wife’s ramen to arrive. Portion for my rice was not justified by the price tag. My wife’s ramen portion was okay and justified with the price tag.

Taste was both okay and tasty.

Another customer arrive at 7.45pm and their rice arrive at the same time as my rice. This is pretty ridiculous.

Approached a staff at 7.50pm to inform that the ramen is very slow and was told that the ramen will take around 10mins to prepare and to be patient 🙄 do I look so ridiculously unreasonable that I would make a complain to check for my food after a few mins?

Overall, food taste is okay but not worth the wait time which was inconsistently ridiculous because mine took 30mins while another customer has their food within 10mins.
